As we come to the end of the year, we want to recognize a meaningful way Eli was honored.

Last month, the Rodeph Sholom School held a Day of Service in honor of Eli. His sixth grade classmates led several acts of service for different organizations and causes.

The sixth graders also organized a bake sale, raising over $1,300 for the Eli Sunshine Fund to support Ewing Sarcoma research and Childhood Cancer Awareness.

Thank you to the sixth graders, the entire school community, and everyone who helped make this day possible. You are helping keep Eli’s spirit present in the world.

Dr. Asmin Tulpule, MD at Memorial Sloan Kettering shares about the research his lab is working on regarding residual disease in Ewing Sarcoma which will one day lead towards a better understanding of how to treat and hopefully cure children like Eli. We are so grateful to Dr. Tulpule for his dedication towards finding a cure for this insidious disease. The Eli Sunshine Fund is funding this project and we are so appreciative of all of our generous donors who have helped make this possible.Thank you. Thank you.

The Eli Sunshine Fund is hosting our 2nd Annual Eli Sunshine Benefit.

Less than 4% of federal funding goes to Childhood Cancer research. Without your help and raising funds, it is nearly impossible to move forward with new trials and research. Children can’t wait. Families can’t wait. Treatments are decades old and often more dangerous than the cancer itself.

We refuse to accept this. Together, we can change it.

Join us to raise critical funds for Ewing Sarcoma research and to shine a light on Childhood Cancer.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

2 years ago, as September was approaching, we kept asking: Where are all the signs? Why are there no signs for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?

So we decided to create one.

Over the last 2 years we have had hundreds of stores and restaurants in NYC and beyond help us raise awareness by putting our signs in their windows and by their registers. This year, we’re hoping to increase that number.

Our Childhood Cancer Awareness Month signs are free to download on our website. The sign has a blank space so you can customize it to honor your family and friends. If you have not been personally affected but still want to help raise awareness, there’s a sign for that too. We wanted to make them accessible for everyone.
