👻 Costumes, candy, and community made for an amazing Halloween celebration at Via! Everyone enjoyed pizza, mummy dogs, mac and cheese, and festive treats while showing off their creative costumes. Special kudos to the Adult Training Facility team for bringing the Peanuts characters to life and the Vocational Training Services team for an out-of-this-world Star Wars theme. What a fun day together! Happy Halloween! 🎃

Talent is everywhere.

👏 Congratulations to Ron B., Via's Employee of the Quarter!
Ron was recognized for his extraordinary dedication to an individual he has supported for many years. Through patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others, he has become a trusted source of support to that person during some of life's most difficult moments.
His person-centered approach was recently demonstrated when he tracked down a favorite childhood toy for that individual's birthday, bringing tremendous joy and showing just how much he listens to and cares about the people he supports.
Thank you, Ron, for making such a meaningful difference every day.

At Via, we see the impact of inclusive employment every day.

When people find meaningful work, they gain independence, confidence, purpose, and opportunities for growth. Employers gain dedicated team members. Communities benefit from the talents and contributions of all their members.

Anna, who works at Diesel Dale's Pit Stop is a wonderful example. Through her job, she's built valuable skills, formed connections with her coworkers, and contributes to the success of her workplace every day.

Thank you to the individuals, families, employers, and supporters who help make inclusive employment possible.

Together, we're celebrating value. Together, we're celebrating talent.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) reminds us that talent comes in many forms, and inclusive workplaces are stronger workplaces. This year's observance, led by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), celebrates the contributions of workers with disabilities and the value they bring to businesses and communities every day.

Employers can help build a more inclusive workforce by focusing on abilities, removing barriers, and creating opportunities for everyone to succeed. Together, we can ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to contribute their talents and thrive in meaningful employment.
