It was so amazing to see friends and families come out and enjoy the festivities and the gracious amount of giveaways that were provided by our dear friends from local organizations! 🌡️ Extreme Heat Watch This Week 🌡️
High temperatures can quickly become dangerous. Take steps to protect yourself, your family, and your neighbors during this week’s extreme heat.

☀️ Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water—even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🧢 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing and sunscreen when outdoors.
🏠 Limit outdoor activities, especially during the hottest part of the day.
⏰ If you work outside, schedule strenuous tasks for the early morning or evening when possible.
❤️ Check on older adults, young children, people with chronic medical conditions, and anyone without reliable air conditioning.

Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If someone shows signs of heat stroke—such as confusion, loss of consciousness, or a body temperature above 103°F—call 911 immediately.

Stay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.
