Want to make your own soot sprite? ✨️
Well, you are in luck!
The Emmaus Theater gave Miki Tamura (Miki T.) the green light to have a table for attendees to come and make their own soot sprite for the October 20th screening of Spirited Away!
Free pre-show activity starting at 6:30PM, this little guy took me about 2 minutes to make!

Save the Date! November 14th!
allentownchamber and Downtown Allentown Alliance is going to host their first Downtown Allentown Marketplace!
It's a new cultural market series bringing together artists, food, and small businesses.
Lehigh Valley JAJAJA was invited to table at this event: maybe an origami or other arts and craft activity!
If you are interested in volunteering at the table, DM to let us know!
If not, just come out and show support and enjoy - spaces and events that showcase multicultural representation is so important in our community!

Last night was a dream come true!
LV JAJAJA had a great turnout on a rainy, Sunday evening! It was the perfect night for listening to some Japanese music, having a hot drink and snack, and creating art with friends.

As I said many times last night and in posts, a special thanks to IceHouse Performing Arts Collaborative (Doug and Silagh), bikebiscuits , volunteers, and attendees for helping this Otsukimi event become a reality.

Pampas grass, or susuki, symbolizes autumn and is closely tied to tsukimi. It's feathery plumes reflect moonlight 🌕, making it a natural seasonal decoration. It symbolizes a good harvest and is thought to protect homes from evil spirits when near entrances. ✨️

🎑 Come celebrate Otsukimi this Sunday at The Ice House in Bethlehem with LV JAJAJA from 6-8:30PM! Free admission.
