Can you believe it’s already been ONE WEEK since Bike Broad?!

We’re still smiling thinking about an incredible morning filled with bikes, walkers, rollers, music, community—and nearly 250 of you showing up to experience Broad Street without cars.

And the feedback we’ve been getting has been amazing. So many of you told us how much you loved the event, how fun it was to have the street to yourselves, and how much you hope we do it again.

Honestly… we couldn’t agree more.

Thank you for making our very first Bike Broad such a special day. ❤️

Here’s a little look back at the morning!

09/17/2026

Bike Broad brought Bethlehem together to walk, bike, and roll on a car-free Broad Street.

CAT-Coalition for Appropriate Transportation and the City of Bethlehem used the day to celebrate community, safer streets, and a bigger idea: our streets should work for everyone.

That work continues through the City’s Complete Streets efforts. Follow along and see what’s being built across Bethlehem at https://webuild.bethlehem-pa.gov.

Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make the first Bike Broad happen!

WE DID IT!! 🚲🎉

The first-ever Bike Broad: Walk • Bike • Roll was a HUGE success—and it’s all thanks to YOU!

Nearly 250 people came out to experience Broad Street in a whole new way—walking, biking, rolling, laughing, connecting, and enjoying a morning without cars.

Together, we filled the streets with energy and showed what’s possible when we create space for people instead of traffic.

And then we celebrated! Music, food, vendors, community partners, and plenty of smiles made the Rose Garden the perfect place to finish the day.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, partnered, helped behind the scenes, or simply came out to cheer us on. And thank you to the City of Bethlehem for helping make this vision a reality.

This was just year one. ❤️

We hope you had as much fun as we did—and we can't wait to see where Bike Broad goes from here!

Because the best streets are the ones we share.

Only TWO Days to go!
Imagine Broad Street… without cars.

Just bikes. People. Music. Energy.

Come walk, bike, or roll your way across Bethlehem on a fun, relaxed, CAR-FREE day on the street.

No racing. No pressure. No experience required. Just come as you are.

🔹 It’s about safer streets.
🔹 It’s about healthier communities.
🔹 It’s about reimagining how we use our city.

And when you finish, stay for the Bike Broad Festival at the Rose Garden—eat, meet your neighbors, listen to live music, explore local vendors, stroll through the Farmer’s Market, and learn more about Bethlehem’s plans for the future of biking from the Mayor.
