The Original Guide To Living Wisely

It would be great to have more help in the Rose Garden. Weather permitting, we have scheduled clean up to begin on Saturday March 16th and Saturday the 23rd.
We usually begin around 10 AM.......if folks are a bit late that is OK too.
Jobs to be done include cutting back the roses, trimming the perennials, weeding, edging the beds and mulching.
Helpers should wear sensible shoes, bring garden gloves and their favorite tools ( especially clippers).
If you can bring disinfectant wipes (like baby wipes) that would be helpful. We need to wipe off our clippers between trimming bushes to help prevent the spread of rose disease.

We also offer community service credits in case anyone has a high school student in need of hours.
Pam Ruch is the horticulturist who oversees our efforts. Barbara Kozero is our super volunteer coordinator!

Thank you! Hope to see you in the garden. It's fun
