Our third year in a row and we couldn't be happier about it!
The crowd is always fun and
every year the costumes have gotten more impressive and interesting.
We hope you enjoy our contribution as much as we enjoy seeing all of you. 🥹🙏🎃 🍬 🍭

Big thanks to Parks and Recreation for coordinating this highly anticipated event year after year and for the invite! 🤗🍂

Fall salad will be on the menu soon thanks to these turnips and handful of other leafy and root veggies!

The year is winding down and we're preparing for our winter break.
Let's make as many new connections as possible between now and then so we have friends and neighbors to help each other get through the cold months. 🤝☃️

We're proud and grateful to announce we're working with the lovely ladies and students of again this year!

The students will be carving time out of their already busy schedules to devote service to our Fall garden and community events.

They'll lend their innovative minds and big hearts to our community programs in the coming months.

From learning about and participating in the local food supply chain, serving up vibrant plates of food, to creating art projects that honor Appalachian culture of interconnectedness, there's a lot in store and we're excited to share it with you as it all unfolds.

A sincere thank you to Mrs. Susie Harris, beloved teacher and devout student leader in our community, for this collaborative opportunity!

If you're looking for a free, Fall, fun family time (say that five times fast! 😜) , stop in Old Town on the 16th and 17th.

There will be a pumpkin glow maze, arts and crafts with demos, and lots of smiling faces with enough good vibes to go around.

We can't wait to see you! :)

Community meals will be nicely seasoned throughout the winter with basil and rosemary we managed to grow this year.

Huge thanks to our volunteer Trin, for doing the tedious task of plucking all of that basil!

Next up, preservation.
Seasoning cubes, dehydration or freeze dry? Tasty decisions to make!

Come out and have a Spootacular time with your friends and neighbors this month at the free market. 👻
Experience what it's like to share in the abundance of community. When you participate in the free market you are supporting the gift economy and the circular economy which insures that what you need and want has a better chance of making its way to you.

Not mention it keeps stuff out of the landfills and our environment a lot healthier. 🫶🍂🎃

Don't forget to wear your costumes and come ready to have a good time. 😊🥸🥳

As always, thank you to Free Market Community for this meaningful collaboration!

First free market of this year's Fall 2026 is happening now! 🍁🍂

Come down and join us. There's plenty to go around.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out tonight to share with their neighbors. 👏🤗🙏
