This is why we say NWA is the best.

A neighbor needed transportation to be able to work more easily we made one call to and just like that, he has a bike.

Pedal It Forward consistently shows up for our neighbors. Whether it’s a bike for transportation, or repairing a bike. They love our neighbors well and we are so thankful!

Hard weeks don’t last forever. Look for the good around you.

Be the good. Someone needs it today.

Neighbor Night recap!

Feed people, love people.

Neighbors thank you for joining us for tacos, gorgeous weather, and sweet conversation this week. There’s nothing quite like it.

To every individual volunteer who showed up this week thank you. To our team leaders, thank you. To our kitchen crew, THANK YOU.

This week we had a special one: Arvest Bank served alongside us in every single city for what we called Arvest Feeds NWA. What an investment in this community. Thank you for showing up all. week. long.

We’ll see you next week.

Have you ever thought “I just don’t know how to strike up conversation with a stranger”? That is what Neighbor Night is all about — getting to know neighbors, sitting with someone you don’t know.

We promise to always have great, sometimes awkward conversation starters. Is a hot dog a sandwich?

Comment what issue we shook tackle next.

Meet the team!

This is Ray, our Development Director and we are SO happy he joined us a few months ago!

Ray has spent his entire career leading nonprofits, so he didn’t just walk through our doors with a title he walked in with a whole wealth of experience and a heart already wired for this kind of work. He might also be the best listener we know, which is a genuine gift around here because big, wild ideas are basically our native language.

Oh, and he has a hidden talent: he is really good at making balloon animals. The kids at Neighbor Nights have already discovered this.

If you’ve been to a Neighbor Night lately, you’ve probably spotted him .

Welcome to the family, Ray!

The holidays are coming.

We’ve already started getting the question: “What’s your schedule during the holidays?”

Same as always. We don’t cancel Neighbor Nights.

For some of our neighbors, our table is the only table they have. That doesn’t change because it’s a holiday if anything, it matters more.

So yes, we will be serving Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving. Yes, we will be at all four locations that week. And because Christmas Eve falls on a Thursday this year we will be in Bentonville serving dinner that night too.

The holidays can be a lonely, hard time for a lot of people. We will be there. We will have a hot meal. And we will be glad you came.

See you at the table.

Feed the hungry. Cultivate community. Fight poverty.

This is what that looks like in real life.
