Our Story
The Northwest Branch meets the first Wednesday of every month, at noon. Exceptions to monthly meetings occur in March, July, September, and October. In March, we conduct a Day of Training that provides a great opportunity for civil engineers to network with industry leaders, learn about new and interesting developments within the profession, and earn up to 7 Professional Development Hours. All proceeds go towards scholarships for civil engineering students at the University of Arkansas. We skip the July meeting to celebrate Independence Day. In September, we have a Fall Social at US Pizza in Fayetteville to network with the U of A Civil Engineering students. We do not have a monthly meeting in October, to encourage attendance at the State meeting. In May, we have added a Spring Social at Baum Stadium to watch baseball and meet with U of A students.
