Today was Day 2 of our Girls+ in Technology of Northwest Arkansas Summer Camp, and the theme was Data & AI. They got a variety of exposure & learning:

✔️Certification training
🤖 A fun and interactive learning session on AI & Machine Learning, that led to building websites.
🥪 Lots of food
🗣A speaker session to go deeper into AI concepts such as ethics, LLMs, responsible use, languages, and so much more.
💻The finale of the day of them sharing, in front of all of their peers, what they learned for the day

What an incredible day and group of kids. We are excited for tomorrow with our Product & Project Management sessions.

Also, a HUGE shoutout to our volunteers and Girls+ in Technology of Northwest Arkansas Ambassadors that helped in a tremendous way!

Today we had the amazing opportunity to partner with the Elizabeth Richardson Center and host a STEM kit activity for their life skills class. Our amazing guests were able to build their own cars, trucks, airplanes and helicopters. And at the end of the activity, we enjoyed some ice cream sundaes.

Seeing the joy and smile on their faces as they built and were able to make their vehicles run is exactly what the heart of both of our organizations are for. Positively impacting lives one day at a time.

Thank you to our incredible Community Outreach lead, Evelyn Williams, for facilitating this event!

A luminary is more than someone who inspires — it’s someone who shines in a way that helps others see what’s possible for themselves. Through leadership, encouragement, innovation, or simply choosing to show up, we all have the ability to light the path for someone else.

At Women+ in Tech, we’re surrounded by luminaries every day — people who lead with purpose, uplift their communities, and remind others that growth starts with taking the first step. 💙

✨ Who has been a luminary in your life?

The future isn’t something we simply wait for — it’s something we build through ideas, action, and the courage to create what doesn’t exist yet. Innovation starts with curiosity, grows through collaboration, and becomes reality when people are willing to imagine something better.

At Women+ in Tech, we believe the future is shaped by those bold enough to step forward, challenge possibilities, and create change. 💙

✨ What kind of future are you helping invent?

We are so excited to be kicking of our Women+ in Technology of Northwest Arkansas Product Group tomorrow night at Bentonville Brewery at 6:30pm.

Our first Product Circle meetup with a topic that sits at the heart of how we build in tech:

✅ Beyond Delivery: Product vs Project vs Program Thinking
In a world driven by timelines and milestones, we often celebrate delivery.

But let’s pause and ask:
👩‍💻 Are we just delivering… or are we creating impact?

In this interactive session, we’ll explore how these three mindsets show up in real-world scenarios:
🚀 Project thinking → ex*****on and timelines
🚀 Program thinking → coordination and scale
🚀 Product thinking → outcomes and long-term value

Be ready for:
🗣️ Open discussions
🗣️ Real-world perspectives
🗣️ A space to learn, share, and grow together

📅 Date: May 13th (Wednesday)
🕖 Time: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST
🤝 Venue: Bentonville Brewing Company- 901 SW 14th St, Bentonville, AR

Whether you're an aspiring PM, a seasoned leader, or simply curious about building meaningful products—this space is for you.

Attendance is completely free, just reserve your spot here: https://lnkd.in/g6kT9eiB

Women+ in Technology of Northwest Arkansas would like to welcome Anuja B. to our leadership team, as our new Marketing Lead.

Anuja Bairat has over 10 years of experience across consumer finance, shipping, and mental health tech. She is a Digital Product and Data Science Lead at Citibank in Dallas, TX. She builds personalization engines and financing experiences that lower cognitive load and improve checkout confidence. At FedEx, she worked extensively in customer engagement marketing, shaping the shipping lifecycle for small and medium businesses by applying customer behavior to product strategy to drive retention and growth. Her sweet spot is the intersection of two make-or-break moments in any e-commerce journey: shipping and financing, and she has spent her career engineering both.

Anuja lived in Northwest Arkansas for over a year, and quickly fell in love with the rare balance NWA offers: peaceful, nature-rich, and quietly full of opportunity. She joined WITNWA because that same spirit of intentional growth resonates deeply with her. Beyond work, she finds solace in gardening, a reminder that growth takes patience, consistency, and the right environment. She believes the same is true for learning, innovation, and community.

Welcome to the team, Anuja B. We are so excited to have you!
