Kentucky Lake VFW Post 1084 and Auxiliary

Phase one of Post beautification has begun! Kevin and Dave stripped, sanded, washed and painted the exterior doors today! The doors still need another coat or two of paint, then we can move on to trim, the flag posts, and painting the interior.

The post is open tonight with pub snacks and a full bar, darts, pool tables, and good conversation! Y'all come!

Why do we have a VFW? It's not to have a private bar, to gain accolades, power, or influence. It's because people just like us need help. Others were there to help us. Now we pay it forward. We do it because they'd do it for us. We'd run headlong into gunfire to save one of our brothers and sisters in arms, or anyone else for that matter. We try to embody servant leadership. We serve the veterans of our community.
It's who we are.
It's what we do.
We need YOUR help to do it.
