🎶Meet Your Music Director: Megan Oeth!
We welcome Megan Oeth as the Music Director for our Teens On Stage production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr. this summer!
A dedicated educator, performer, and mentor, Megan brings a wealth of experience in music, theatre, and youth development. She currently teaches ELA and Drama at North Marshall Middle School and has served as the school's choral director for the past four years. Her love for the performing arts led her to study vocal theatre at Central Methodist University and the University of Missouri.
Megan's roots with the Marshall County Arts Commission run deep. Since first becoming involved in 2013, she has taught Youth on Stage, smART Camp, art classes, and choir programs, while also taking the stage herself as Lois Faye in From Lucky Lake Ranch to Clucky Lake Farm. More recently, she has inspired young performers as Music Director for Madagascar and The Wizard of Oz.
Whether she's helping students discover their confidence through music, leading worship alongside her husband Ty, or cheering on her daughters Emery and Henley, Megan is passionate about helping others find their voice.
We can't wait for our Teens On Stage performers to make music with Megan this summer.
Registration is open now! Learn more about High School Musical Jr. and all of our summer camps and classes at the Marshall County Arts Center. 👉 www.MarshallCountyArts.com

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Marshall County Hospital and Marshall County EMS for their generous donation of an adult and pediatric AED to the Marshall County Arts Center.
This gift is so much more than equipment. It is peace of mind and an important investment in the safety and well-being of everyone who walks through our doors. Because of their support, we are even better prepared to care for our community and ensure a safe environment while adult and children gather here to create, learn, and connect.
We are grateful for their commitment to community health and for standing alongside us in keeping Marshall County a safe and welcoming place for all.

There’s something special about people coming together to create, connect, and build community through art.
Heartfelt Crafts group gathers at the Arts Center a couple times each month to create together, socialize, encourage one another, and simply enjoy each other’s company. It’s a welcoming space filled with creativity, conversation, and laughter.
At the Marshall County Arts Center, we love supporting spaces where friendships are formed, creativity is shared, and community continues to grow through art.

🎭Meet Your Choreographer: Kelly Locker
We are pleased to introduce Kelly Locker as the choreographer for our first Teens On Stage Camp production of Disney’s High School Musical Jr.!
Kelly is married to Will and is the proud mom of two daughters, Emma and Darcy. She has been an educator for 22 years and currently teaches ELA at South Marshall Middle School, where she has taught for the past 9 years. Kelly also spent 10 years taking dance classes and served as the SMMS dance coach for 5 years.
Kelly first became involved with MCAC in 2022 when her daughter, Darcy, was cast in A Christmas Carol. In 2023, she stepped onto the stage herself as Grandpa Joe in W***y Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Since then, Kelly has choreographed four productions at MCAC, bringing energy, creativity, and encouragement to every cast she works with.
Outside of MCAC, Kelly enjoys coaching volleyball, helping with youth activities at First Baptist Church in Benton, and watching reality game shows on TV.
We are so excited for our students to learn from and work with Kelly this summer!
