Foster needed adopter wanted. Nalah is a 7 year old border collie who is coming into the rescue Sunday. She needs a quiet place to heal and recover from her spay/mammary tumor removal. She’s great with kids cats and dogs, house trained (not sure about crate trained) walks on a leash and is about 45lbs.

We are home safe and getting settled. First thing first food and water then some probiotic paste to help their tummies. I had to pull food because they were gorging themselves. Will feed small amounts often until they feel like they aren’t going to go hungry. I believe they are 5 weeks old and defiantly a Heeler concoction. Thank you to all that donated. Every penny will go towards the dogs.

Meet the Dynamic Duo! 🐾

These two 4 month old Border Collie mix puppies are ready to find their forever homes! One male and one female, these smart pups are expected to mature around 35 40 pounds, making them the perfect medium sized adventure companions.

Like most Border Collie mixes, they are bright, curious, and eager to learn. They are at the perfect age to start building great habits and bonds with their future families. Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a training partner, or a loyal best friend, these pups are ready to roll.

They love exploring the world, learning new things, and soaking up attention from their people. With continued training, socialization, and plenty of fun activities, they have all the potential to grow into incredible family dogs.

If you’re looking for a smart, active, and affectionate puppy to join your crew, one of these adorable pups could be the perfect match! ❤️🐶

FOSTERS AND ADOPTERS NEEDED! We have a very full house over here, and more dogs that need a safe place to land. We are urgently looking for fosters and adopters for these wonderful pups:

🐾 Brookie – 7 months old, about 40 lbs. Sweet, happy girl who loves people and other dogs. Potty trained with a dog door. She’ll kennel when needed, though it’s not her favorite place to be. Walks on a leash but does pull and would benefit from some basic training. Border Collie/Shepherd mix.

🐾 Shyla – 10 months old, about 35 lbs. A timid girl who blossoms once she feels safe. Potty trained with a dog door, quiet and well-behaved in her kennel. She had never been on a leash before coming into rescue, so she’s learning the basics and making progress. Great with other dogs but would do best in a quieter home.

🐾 Willow – About 35 lbs. Very sweet, affectionate girl who gets along well with other dogs. She’s improving with kennel time every day and walks reasonably well on a leash. She’ll thrive with a family willing to continue her training and build her confidence.

🐱 Cat-friendly: All three girls have done well with cats.

Please share, foster, or consider adopting. Every dog that leaves my house opens a spot for another dog in need.

❤️ Fostering saves lives just as surely as adopting does! Thank you for considering!

What. A. Weekend!! 🎉🐾
Ten pups got adopted this weekend (one was apparently too busy packing for their new life to make the photo shoot). That’s 10 dogs who successfully convinced humans they absolutely needed another furry roommate, professional treat tester, sock thief, bed hog, and personal shadow.

We’re thrilled for every one of them and a little quieter around here today... although not by much. 😆

Don’t worry, we still have plenty of amazing dogs looking for their people. Head to hdrescueoregon.com and see who’s waiting to charm their way into your home next. Mission status: 10 dogs adopted. Countless hearts stolen. ❤️

FOSTERS NEEDED TO BRING THEM INTO THE RESCUE
These dogs were dumped.
This is the info she sent me on them
She says both dogs are female, the reddish one I think is like 6 months and the white one is probably atleast a year maybe two.

Extremely friendly they love everyone they meet ESPECIALLY kids they’re very gentle. The red jumps when she’s excited and also pees a little but the white does not.

Good with dogs of all sizes unsure about cats or smaller animals. They’ve done fine around mine but I haven’t let them be unsupervised. Unsure how they’d do in a car also.

I believe the red one is a puppy of the white from a previous litter from the information I was given from the neighbor.

The white was pregnant when they got dumped-the puppies all found homes she loves to smile at you and when she recognizes your car pulling in she runs up to you.

The red one is more a talker and greets you with a happy growl and tail wag sometimes a bit of a howl.

They have scared off coyotes from around our property that is the only time they bark is when they see something in the fields. The white resource guards food from other dogs so I feed them separately.

They do not need to go together, the white would THRIVE in a home with kids of any age she’s so gentle.

The red would do great with anyone but due to her jumping when she’s excited (we’ve been working with her) probably not super young kids.
