In Support of Our Community 💜

As our community grieves the shooting at Silver Rail, many community members are facing difficult feelings and questions about the safety and security of themselves and their children. For survivors of and those living with intimate partner violence and their families, as well as community members who have experienced sexual assault, this heartbreaking event may trigger painful memories of acute trauma and heightened feelings of anxiety and fear.

💜 Today, we're wearing purple.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, purple represents solidarity with survivors, remembrance of lives lost to violence, and our shared commitment to a future free from violence.

This year, purple carries an even deeper meaning for our Central Oregon community as we continue to hold the families and everyone impacted by the tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary in our hearts.

Today, we wear purple for survivors. For those we've lost. For Silver Rail. And for a community standing together in compassion, healing, and hope.

At Saving Grace, these words are more than our tagline. They represent the future we believe every individual, family, and community deserves.

Our hearts are with the families and everyone affected by this heartbreaking loss at Silver Rail Elementary, and that's why, in partnership with Dusty & Stacia 100% of the funds raised at this Sunday’s Not’cho Grandma’s Bingo at Silver Moon Brewing will be donated to the families impacted by this tragedy. Every bingo card, individual seat, and table reservation will contribute directly in support.

This month, we’re speaking openly about domestic violence, standing with survivors and reminding our Central Oregon community that free, confidential help is available. When our community steps up, it truly makes a difference. ❤️

Huge thanks to Ruffwear's Paw It Forward Charitable Grant for equipping our shelter with leashes, harnesses, bowls, and toys! These supplies make a world of difference for the families and pets staying with us. 🐾

We are also thrilled to share a wonderful update, all of the puppies born at our shelter five weeks ago have officially found their forever homes! 🐶

🏠 Pets are an essential part of the family, and having these resources helps us ensure every member of the family feels safe and cared for.

We are so thankful to our compassionate community for stepping up, opening your hearts, and supporting survivors and their animals every single day.
