💙🏈 THE LEGACY OF #6 LIVES ON! 🧡📚

Seven years ago, my life changed forever when I lost my 14-year-old son, Jaylon McKenzie. But I knew his story couldn’t end there.

Today, with tears in my eyes and so much love in my heart, I’m excited to announce that MY FIRST CHILDREN’S BOOK IS ALMOST HERE! 📚❤️

A Boy, a Ball, a Dream, and a Changed Assignment

This journey has been emotional, filled with tears, setbacks, and moments when I wanted to give up. But one thing I knew for sure was that I had to !

Jaylon dreamed of making it to the NFL, and I dreamed of watching him get there. Life changed our plans, but it didn’t change his purpose.

I may never get to watch him make history on the football field, but I’m making sure his story becomes part of history. 💙🏈

📚 Coming November 29, Jaylon’s birthday and officially proclaimed JAYDAY!

To my baby boy, Mommy is still working to make your dreams come true, just in a different way than we planned.

Your assignment may have changed, but your legacy continues! 💙🧡

Today was a day that I will never forget.

I had the honor of speaking to the young athletes at the Antonio Johnson Jr. Foundation Youth Football Camp and presenting the inaugural Jaylon McKenzie Award to the camp MVP.

As a mother, seeing my son’s name attached to another award that recognizes hard work, leadership, character, and excellence was both emotional and inspiring. Although Jaylon is no longer with us, his legacy continues to live on through opportunities like this and through the lives he continues to impact.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Antonio Johnson Jr. Foundation, Antonio Johnson Jr., and his mother/father for this thoughtful and meaningful gesture. Thank you for helping keep Jaylon’s memory alive and for allowing his legacy to inspire the next generation of young athletes.

Congratulations to this year’s recipient. Continue to work hard, dream big, and be a leader both on and off the field.

Jaylon’s life mattered. His legacy lives on. 💙🏈
