We were proud to co-host the 2025 Nonprofit Summit with The Dresher Foundation—a gathering of Nonprofit Executive Directors serving Harford County, whose organizations are committed to serving our community members in greatest need.

This year’s summit featured:
✅ An inspiring keynote from Maggie Kane, Founder of A Place at the Table, reminding us that when people feel seen and valued, communities thrive.
✅ Collaborative work sessions tackling real client scenarios and building bridges between our organizations.
✅ Updates on Harford County Hive, our growing initiative to strengthen nonprofit communication and collaboration.

🥧 We ended the day with something sweet—a pie for every attendee—because an event in November is all about sharing and gratitude.

Thank you to all the tremendous nonprofit leaders who attended and brought their ideas, energy, and passion. Harford County nonprofits are stronger together! Like a well-connected hive, we all have “a place at the table,” and our collective efforts will keep driving impact across our community.

✨ Celebrating Philanthropy & Impact in Harford County! ✨Last week, we came together for An Evening of Gratitude—a celebration honoring our incredible donors, fundholders, and partners in philanthropy. It was an opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for the support that made this a defining year for the Community Foundation, marked by bold new initiatives and nearly $700,000 in grantmaking—more than double last year!

A huge thank you to Rockfield Manor for the stunning venue and Maison Intimate Catering for the delicious food and drinks.
