We have so much to be grateful for today.

We kicked things off with an incredible workout alongside a new group of individuals navigating their sobriety journey — and the energy was unreal. Everyone showed up with heart, effort, and openness. It was a powerful session, and the feedback we received was nothing short of inspiring.

A huge thank you to Coach Meg, who was absolutely amazing today. Her energy, encouragement, and leadership played a big part in creating such a positive and impactful experience for everyone.

A special thank you as well to my daughter Jillian for making the connection with this new recovery community and for coming out to work out with everyone. And thank you to Katie for joining us — your support brought so much positivity to the room.

We also want to express deep gratitude to Louise for donating even more gym equipment to be shared with local recovery homes. Her generosity is truly boundless and so appreciated by all of us.

And of course, none of this would be possible without Bret and his continued support in allowing us to operate out of Everlasting Fitness. We couldn’t do what we do without him, and we are incredibly grateful for his commitment to our mission.

This is the heart of Project Lift — community, connection, and lifting each other up one workout at a time.

This past weekend, we were blessed with the donation of high-quality home gym equipment from a generous supporter, Louise. This gift is more than workout gear for the residents of the local recovery home in Harford County — it’s an opportunity to build strength, confidence, and healthy routines that support lasting sobriety.

We’re also deeply grateful to Matt and Bret Lurz for their help with the move — and an additional special shoutout to Bret, owner of Everlasting Fitness, for providing the truck and trailer that made it all possible.

This is what community looks like — people coming together to lift each other up, both inside and outside the gym. Thank you for being part of the mission.
