*A charter employee of the U.S. EPA (1970). He received the EPA bronze medal for his serving on the team that developed the NPDES program and he was a developer of EPA Industrial Effluent Guidelines.
*John was most proud of being a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son & Brother.
