Mission to the Children
“Changing Our World One Life at a Time”

This past month was a very exciting time, a time of great blessing.
It was nice to return to Dallas and Tyler County. I really enjoy my yearly visits to the States. It's nice to return and be treated like you never left. Thanks everyone for making each trip so special.
I also had the privilege of speaking at so many wonderful churches that generously supported our ministry. A special thanks to Tyler River of Life, United Christian Fellowship, Family Community, Community Church of Jesus Christ, Hope Fellowship, and Centro Cristiano Vida Abundante. Your support keeps me and Lis in the Mission field. Thank you for covering us with your prayers

Thanks to your support, we bought a Husgvarna riding mower last week, and cut the grass at the ranch. Normally it takes eight hours to cut the grass and it took me an hour and a half to cut everything including the field. Me and My uncle Pepe cut the grass every week for 3 months and that takes us a day. Now, it will only take me about 2 hours to cut and w**d everything. So, we will have a lot of time during the rainy season for other repairs and maintenance on the ranch. Thank you for making our lives so much easier.

While in West Virginia, I always stay with Mike and Chris Lenz. They are the best host, and I enjoy visiting them each year. There is a peace in there home that allows me to rest every part of my life. It is nice to have good friends you can always count on. Thanks for taking such good care of me

I also had a wonderful time in Dallas with Sammy, Josh, and Alexis. Sam and Josh are both doing good. Sam and Alexis were house sitting a beautiful house on a lake while I was up. I felt like I was in a vacation home. It had a private dock that we fished from. Alexis was this fishing queen, and I only caught a few very small fish. The lake view from the house was incredible. It was so nice to fish with my boys since we have not fished in a long time.

I want to say a special thanks to Lis, who took care of everything while I was in the States. She is my best friend, and we do everything together, so being apart is not easy for us. I praise the Lord for a nice trip, and praise the Lord I am back home with my wonderful wife.
Now that I am back in Colima, we have a lot to do. This Sunday we have our 47th anniversary of our church in Coquimatlan, and Lis is preparing a nice meal for us. We also, have a pray meeting this Friday in the Villa De Alvarez and next Thurs day in Coquimatlan. This next Saturday we our Men and women groups and then we Celebrate Father’s Day on the following Sunday
Thank you all for your support. Remember the greatest thing you can do is pray daily for us. The things that need to happen in our ministry only occur when God’s people pray. We need the Lord to cleanse our land and stop the violence. We are claiming 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJ If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Our faith is only in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Our Help will only come from above, but we need your daily prayers for our ministries and protection. Thank you all for praying

Thank you all for your prayers. After a cat scan, Xray, colonoscopy, and blood work, we still do not know what is causing my intestinal problems. I have severe bloating, and pain. I have been sick for a month and this past week I have hardly been able to sleep. Praise God, we know it is not a tumor or blockage. Praise God for my healing that will come. Praise God I have only been slowed down, and praise God today I feel better than yesterday; Keep praying, because better days are Coming.

In a few weeks I will be returning to West Virginia for my yearly visit, and I look forward to seeing you all. Here is my schedule Sunday Morning may 17thTyler River of Life, Sunday evening Hope Fellowship, Wed 20th Wick Community Church, and Sunday Morning May 24th United Christian Fellowship. I look forward to sharing how God has used our Ministry, because It has been a great year for us. See ya soon

Each year we have the privilege of hosting our pastor’s meal

in our Church in Suchitlan. Our Local Pastors, Seco and Meli, always do a great job in hosting this event. Lis and all our ladies worked hard to take care of our Guest. We had over 60 people for the meal. The worship service and prayer time was a real blessing. Many pastors from small churches drove hours to be with us, and it is so nice to be a part of something bigger than our individual churches.

This is the view from behind our church in Coquimatlan. The tall building is the back of our church and the small building is where we want to put our Children’s Class. For safety reason we moved our Children’s class to side of the church, and when the rain comes, they will be in a mud pit. We are trying to raise $6000 dollars to completely replace the roof, pour a cement floor and put in a restroom with septic tank. Our kids or meeting under a canopy, and if it rains hard, we have to cancel the class. Please pray for this important project.

This is a picture of a hero of the faith. This young man is leading worship at his father’s funeral. This is a very hard thing to do. His father, Paulino, was one of my best friends. Paulino was a lover of people, and his kindness and servant heart changed the lives of many people. He is greatly missed; please pray for his family during the difficult time

We have made a lot of progress at the ranch, and we now have a kitchen in our multipurpose class room. Thank you for all your help. We still need to put in the ceiling fan and connect the stove. We are hoping to purchase a used fridge in the future. It will be nice to cook in an enclosed kitchen. Food and fellowship will bring us all closer together and closer to God. Thank you for blessing us.

Finaly, we are trying to raised money to buy Husqvarna Ts148 which cost $ 7,301.01 Dollars US. My health is making it hard to cut several acres each week with a push mower. We will also buy a small trailer to help us carry items like rocks and cement. I am getting old and a riding lawn mower will help us get more done in less time. Please pray for this project and help as you can.

We continue to feed many people each month, and your support helps ease the suffering of many struggling families. When I was growing up, we did not have many snacks in our home, so as an adult I always keep our cookie jar full. We have many visitors at our home, and thanks to your support I can always offer them a snack. Sometimes it is the small things that show people we love them. Thank you putting smiles on the faces of people you will never meet. Please keep our ministry in your prayers. The most important thing you can do is pray for Me and Lis. We lead a lot of people, and we must be led by God. Pray God gives us wisdom and discernment.

Changing Our World One Life at a time
MarNews26
Thank you all for your prayers for our March for Jesus. We had thousands of Christians marching through the streets of Colima, as they proclaimed their love for our Savior and Lord. It was a powerful testimony that Jesus is alive. There was boldness and excitement in their faces. We prayed for the businesses and people as we passed by. We praised the Lord that it was a safe march. Due to the recent problems, it was a perfect time to proclaim peace and the love of God. WE NEEDED A TIME OF HEALING FOR OUR CITY. Also, a special thanks to my sister and brother-in-law for renting a large flatbed truck with a sound system so we could lead worship for a section of the march. We have this march every March, so please come march with us if you can.
For safety reasons we had to move our children’s class from in front of our Church in Coquimatlan to the side of our church. Let me put this in context; we have not had any incidents near our church and we only moved the class a precaution. We are not living in fear even though we live in a very dangerous city, we are just being responsible. This new location does have some problems. First, the Class is located outside of open widows which allows all the noises from our church to interrupt their class. And secondly the rain from the roof will flow under their table. These problems have led us to good solutions.
For the past couple of years, we have found temporary solutions for children’s classrooms and with your help I feel it is time to give them a safe permanent solution. Behind our church we have a very unfinished room. It needs a cement floor, new roof, bathroom, wiring, and finished walls. This new place will protect them from the street, rain, and the noise. Please pray for us as we try to raise $6000 for this project.
God has been faithful to us. We prayed for a truck, and God sent us a truck. We prayed for a new roof for our children’s classes at the ranch, and we have a new roof plus screened walls and new doors. In addition, one of our classrooms will have a full kitchen, and we already have donated wood for countertops and cabinets, and also, we have donated a sink, stove, and new ceiling fans. Our ministry is operating in a season of great blessings and praise to God. We are so blessed that I need help finishing the projects. This is the first time in many years that I have been paid on time every month. I have also been reimbursed on time for all my ministry expenses. Mi and Lis live a good comfortable life, and we are not suffering. We just get by and we have peace before the blessing arrives. We are not stressed out about money, because God always meets all of our needs (period!). We feed so many people each month, and help those in need. For us we find greater joy in giving to others. Thank you for keeping us here. God is doing so many wonderful things in our midst and it is an honor to serve him. Thank you for sowing into our ministry; your prayers are changing many things in Colima Mexico. Thank you.
I will be in WV May 17-24 let me know if you would like me to speak at your church. Please begin to pray for my trip and tickets. Thanks for taking time to read my newsletter. Dios Te Bendiga my Friends.

Each year we chose a theme, and this year we chose Passion. I love it, and we are going to spend a whole year on trying be more passionate in our walk with Jesus. If we are passionately Seeking God, we will find him and, he will change every part of who we are. The problem is that we are passionate about so many things that God becomes one of several passions in our lives. We must passionately seek him first (Mat 6:33).

This past week was a very long week for us because two of our church families had close loved ones killed. I want to thank you all for your prayers for the families and for the money given for funeral expenses. Please continue to pray for our safety and the safety of our church members. I know Colima has the highest murder rate per capita in the world but, me and Lis have a strong call to do what we are doing here, and we have a peace that comes from being in Gods will. We have the privilege to be Gods light in a very dark place. It is what we do. It is who we are. Lis and I love what we do.

Right after Christmas on the 27th we did an evangelism party for children at one of the local parks near our church in Coquimatlan. For three weeks prior we asked our church members to bring small presents to give to the children. Through our church, friends and neighbors we raised so many presents that we could not give them all away in one event so we had to schedule another event at our Church. It was a miracle that ended up with so many presents, and after two events we still have over 20 plastic balls left over. So many smiles, so many lives changed. So many needy children received their only Christmas presents from us. So many smiles, so much love, it was incredible. Let’s get the Church out of the church more often.

Each month we have men’s and women´s groups that meet twice a month. Lis is in charge of the women’s group and our men’s group is led by my nephew Sami. Each group is in charge of their own snacks and meals. This past week the guys had stuffed sausage dogs wrapped in bacon and covered with Guacamole. They were the best. The Ladies ate tacos. Everyone had a great time. We play games, have a devotional, and fellowship. We are are trying to grow our groups and reach more people; please pray for these ministries.

Lis and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. We miss you all, and hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends. Christmas is a time of love, hope, and generous giving. Christmas is the time when Good showed his extravagant love and sent us the greatest gift of all. When we deserved punishment, God sent his son Jesus Christ to be born and crucified to restore our relationship with God. The reason we give at Christmas is because God gave to us. Remember to increase your giving to your church and spend more time with God and do not let your celebration of Christmas draw you away from Christ. Traveling, family and presents are an important part of Christmas, but remember we first celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We give to everyone at Christmas, and the big question is what will you give to Jesus Christ this year? He wants your time, love, and your sins. Let this Christmas improve your relationship with the Lord. Merry Christmas.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT. This has been one of the best years we have ever had.
2025-year review:
1. We paid the doctor’s bill and bought medicine for several families.
2. We sent our leaders to conferences
3. WE sent our men and women’s groups to retreats.
4. We provide clothes and school uniforms to all of our church children.
5. We gave out backpacks and school supplies to children.
6. WE Fed the needy in the hospitals, streets, and in our churches.
7. We started a youth group and had a free youth retreat.
8. We put a new roof on the classrooms at the ranch.
9. We helped pay for many church meals for our people.
10. Our Ranch Church supported our missionary Sara for the entire year.
11. We provided work at the ranch for needy people.
12. We oversaw 4 churches and preach at three different churches each week.
13. We preached in the streets, the parks, and in our neighborhoods.
14. We Provided rides and housing for people in need.
15. And most importantly we grew spiritually, and have more peace, more hope, and less fear.
We are preparing for an even better year in 2026. We expect God to do greater things and grow our ministries. We will see more miracles, healings, and more lives changed. Please continue to pray for us and our churches.
2026 will be a great year. Keep praying for your miracle. Keep going, we have a lot to do.

Psalm 107:1 says Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. We as Christians have so much to be thankful for; our Salvation, The Holy Spirit, God’s Word, His Church, his promises, his love, his guidance, and the list goes on and on. I am an extremely blessed man. God has blessed me with family, ministry, and many friends and supporters. Also, I am thankful for God has allowed us to do at the ranch. We started with nothing and have grown for over the past twenty-three years. I and thankful that we have finished the roof, and we had our first class under the new roof. All we have left to do is put up the screening and doors. It will take some time as we have to frame in a lot of spots so we can attach the screen, and our work week has been reduced to two days a week, and our work team has been reduced to two people, since Sam will be returning to Texas in a couple of weeks. I am thankful that we can continue to build up the church at the ranch.

This year we have decided to have our outreach Christmas Party in a subdivision near our church in Coquimatlan. We will be ministering to the children in one the poorest parts of the town. We are doing a new toy drive till Christmas to provide presents for all the needy Children. We will do Christmas program, play games and feed them. Everything will be done through donations and Our people are very generous. If you would like to help, please designate your Donations our “Christmas in the Hood”, but the most important thing you can do for is pray for the salvation of MANY children.

Sam and Alexis have been a tremendous help to us. In the past three months, they have preached, taught, prayed for people, led a youth retreat, dug ditches, cut grass, painted, and fixed water lines. Please pray for their spiritual growth, family, and ministry. THEY ARE TALENTED AND GIFTED, AND we are very proud of them.

One of the foundations of our ministries is multiplying ministry. We not only want to do great things for the Lord, but we want to teach others to do big things for the Lord, so they can teach others to do the same. We are trying to create something that will continue to grow and multiply. We have several people we are discipling to go on to minister outside of the Church. My vision is not to build a big church, but rather to equip others to go out and minister to others. This month I want you to pray for Teo and his wife Norma. We ask Teo to start a youth ministry for our main Church in the Villa De Alvares, and he is doing a great job. Teo also preaches and Leads worship for us. His wife Norma also teaches children’s Sunday school in Coquimatlan. They are growing in the Lord and will go on to great things for The Lord. Pray for Lis and I as we try to prepare them their future ministries.
As always, please me and LIS IN YOUR PRAYERS. Thank you all for your support.

Mission to the Children
“Changing our World One Life at a Time”

Our past month has been great. God allowed us to do many things, and we had our first ever youth retreat, and it was a success. Sam and Alexis did a great job leading the weekend. We had around twenty youth. Lis spent most of her time in the kitchen preparing food. Thanks to your support, and with help from Sam and Alexis the retreat was free.
We had a lot of fun games that the youth loved. Teo, our youth leader, brought his guitar and did a great job leading music. Our Bible studies, worship and devotions help our youth get Closer to God. We had youth from several churches and others that did not go to church. Since the retreat our youth group has grown. Please continue to pray for this new ministry.
We have made a lot of progress at the ranch. The roof is almost complete; we still need to put in a few supports and paint the wooden part of the structure. Next, we will frame the structure so we can put in screens. Lastly, we will put in doors. Thankfully we had a load of boards donated to help us frame the screens. Thank God because we started praying for the roof over two years ago, and now it is almost done.
This past Saturday our Heart to Heart and Box of Smiles ministries fed over 100 people at our Regional Hospital. We had a worship service that turned into a prayer meeting. Tears flowed and many people found Jesus in their suffering. Our food ran out as fast as we could serve it, and next time we will try to bring twice as much food. I love getting the church out of the church and into the streets to serve others. Thank you for helping us help others.

We are able to do many things in ministry because our churches here are full of people who love to serve others. Many times, our ladies have to bring their children because they do not have anyone to watch them. Often, we have children sleeping or playing in the middle of our ministries. That children learn to serve. Serving becomes normal and it is not a sacrifice but a privilege. They never have to find time because they are always available just like their parents were.
My beautiful wife, Lis, celebrated her birthday with her family in Vera Crux. We were able to take a vacation with Sam and Alexis. This was my first time meeting Lis’ father’s side of the family. They treated us with so much love and respect. I felt like I have known them my whole life. Every time we ate, we had several main dishes. If we mentioned something we liked they would cook it for us. They did not receive me as Lis’ husband; I was uncle, cousin or nephew; however, Lis was related to them and I was the same. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. I did not matter where I came from, because I was family. It was a homecoming for someone who they just met. God has not only blessed me with Lis but he has blessed me with her family.

Mission to the Children
“Changing Our World One Life at a Time”

It is hard to believe how fast four wonderful years can fly by. We celebrated our anniversary on the11th. We went to a nice hotel and ate wonderful food in a restaurant that overlooked the city. Our love continues to grow, our home is full of peace, and we enjoy each other. God has blessed me LIS.

My son Sam and his wife Alexis arrived before my birthday on the 23rd of August. They took us to the beach for several days to celebrate me and Alexis’ birthdays. It was the first non-work vacation I have been on in years. Sam and Alexis paid for almost everything.I am fortunate that Sam and Josh are very generous with us.

We have started replacing the roof over our children’s classroom, and it looks like our structure is in need of more repairs than we planned. Leveling our structure is time consuming because several of our beams are bowed, twisted, and curved all at the same time. The good thing is that they only require more time and not more money to fix. We are replacing all the bad wood with metal beams. IT IS SLOW BECAUSE WE HAVE TO PAINT ALL THE BEAMS TWICE. We will put the roof tiles up on one of the children's classes next week. We hope to have the roof finished by the middle of next month.

Sam and Alexis bought backpacks, school supplies, and shoes for thirteen children from our churches. We bought the supplies and gave them out the day before school started. I can not over state how much help this was for our families. Some of our families would have had to borrow money, and reduce food and household items to purchase these items. This generous act reduced the stress and suffering for many families.

Sam and Alexis have also helped pay for a church meal at the ranch and have helped us by food for those in need. We took groceries to a widow whose daughter (family of three) moved in to help her. Her daughter, who helps her without pay, cleans houses . Times are hard for them. Please pray for them. Thanks to your help we are reducing suffering.
We celebrated Mexican Independence Day with several big parties at our churches. Sunday we celebrated in Villa de Alvarez with a big meal and an electric bull that Sam rented for us, and on Monday we went to Guadalajara and celebrated with my brother n law Rueben whose church had a block party to reach the lost. We had a great time.

We have our youth camp this weekend. We are expecting God to do great things in the lives of our youth. We will have youth from several of our churches coming and they are bringing several of their unchurched friends. We hope to have around twenty youth and half of them are invited guests. We are praying for salvations and that our youth group will grow.
