Today is World Cancer Day — a day to honor the ongoing fight against this relentless disease. But Corbin’s story was never just about cancer. His life was full of light, humor, courage, and connection, and that’s how I choose to remember him.

Although today marks the final day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2025, our love, prayers, and support for children and families facing this devastating disease should never end. 💛✨ Let’s keep remembering the brave warriors still fighting, and honoring the precious ones we’ve lost too soon, like Corbin.

Earlier this month, I had the privilege of attending the Beacon Lighting Ceremony in Orlando, FL hosted by Talia’s Legacy Children’s Cancer Foundation. For the third year in a row, Corbin’s name shone brightly in the light of the beacon alongside far too many other childhood cancer angels. To stand there in person this year, seeing his name illuminated among so many beautiful souls, was profoundly moving and a memory I will hold close to my heart forever. 💛🕯️

May we all continue to shine a light for these children- their courage, their stories, and their legacies- not just this month, but every single day. 💛🎗️💛🎗️

Happy 18th Birthday, Corbin!
It’s hard to believe you would be an adult today. Eighteen years of life to celebrate — yet so many moments we’ve longed to share with you. You are loved beyond measure and missed every single day.

Though you’re no longer here with us on earth, your presence is felt in every laugh, every memory, every heart that carries you forward. We’ve celebrated your 15th, 16th, 17th, and now your 18th birthday with friends who hold you close in spirit, keeping your light alive.

Life has never been the same without you — our hearts will always feel a little less full — yet the love we have for you continues to grow. Remembering you, honoring you, and feeling you near helps ease the ache and fills us with hope that love truly transcends this world.

Happy birthday in Heaven, sweet Corbin. You are forever in our hearts. 💙✨

🎗️ September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month — and it’s time to shine gold for the brave kids who are fighting and have fought this battle and who inspire us every day.

To kick off the month, we’re sharing an update from one of our C-Squad kids, Chloe, whose strength has touched our hearts since the very beginning of the C-Squad Foundation.

From Chloe’s mom, Mia:

“Chloe is 5 years into her relapse, she will be getting her 10th and final vaccine shot in August. She turns 13 year old 4 days before her last shot and will be starting 7th grade 5 days after she gets the shot. She will be in the band again and is excited to have facs class. She loves her friends, drawing and animals and got a leopard gecko for Christmas. This is such an exciting but also a very scary time for us as we don’t know what is next for Clo, we are Praying the vaccine worked and will prevent another relapse.”

Chloe’s courage, creativity, and love for life remind us why we do what we do. 💛

Let’s honor these kids, like Chloe and Corbin, this month — by raising awareness, sharing their stories, and standing together in hope.

**Three years without you, Corbin.** How is it possible that so much time has passed? It feels surreal, like a dream we can’t wake up from. The days continue to slip by, yet the ache of your absence remains ever-present and painfully unfair for all who loved you and called you a friend. Each passing day, week, month, and year takes us further from the last time we heard your booming laughter or witnessed (or were on the wrong end of) one of your “only-Corbin-could-come-up-with-this” fantastically witty jokes that left us both amused and impressed.

Though you may no longer be with us on Earth, your spirit lives on strong in our hearts and memories, Corbin! We cherish every moment we shared and hold onto the love and joy you brought into our lives. You are deeply missed, today and always.

Today is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Day. 🎗️💛

Corbin is one of too many kids who this day brings awareness to.

Globally over 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer each day.

These kids deserve so much more. Just a few small things each of us can do to spread awareness, which can turn into ACTION.

🎗️Wear gold (and tell people why)
🎗️Help a childhood cancer family
🎗️Donate to research
🎗️Help us petition for change in funding
🎗️Donate to a charity who assists families that are going through it.

Our C-Squad families don’t fight alone. We are here for you! 💪

Thank you to for remembering Corbin at their Worldwide Candle Lighting Service! CHOP is one of the hospitals we traveled to in our pursuit of a cure for Corbin. We are grateful for everything they did for him while he was here and for the continued honoring of Corbin since he crossed the veil.

We had a great time decorating and baking Corbin’s Christmas Cookies at the Ferguson showroom in Grapevine this weekend! Everyone who pre-ordered is receiving a gorgeous bonus cookie donated by our friend Courtney at 3rd Shift Cookie Co. !
