Happy Father’s Day from Impact Garage. 💙

Impact Garage was inspired by a father.

Terri Fleck grew up spending evenings and weekends in her family’s garage, holding a flashlight, handing her dad tools, and watching him repair vehicles.

Later, she realized he wasn’t fixing cars for profit.

He was helping people.

That simple lesson became the heart behind Impact Garage: using automotive skill not just to repair vehicles, but to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity.

Today, we honor the fathers and father figures who teach by example, serve quietly, and leave lasting impact.

Some donations come with a title. Others come with a story. ❤️

Recently, Mykyta and Madeline donated their beloved 2011 Ford Fiesta to Impact Garage. To many, it may look like an older vehicle. To them, it was a member of the family.

Along with the keys, they left a note that reminded us why this work matters:

"Hey! We're Mykyta & Madeline and we're the previous owners of this 2011 Ford Fiesta. It's been in our family since brand new and before our marriage. We love this car very dearly and hope you will too. Please take good care of our little Fiesta. His name is Froyo and he has always taken good care of us."

From one family to another, they passed along more than transportation. They passed along memories, trust, and the opportunity for someone else to move forward.

What touched me even more was learning that Mykyta is a certified automotive technician and expressed interest in volunteering in the future. That's the kind of community impact that creates a ripple effect, people helping people, not because they have to, but because they care.

Thank you, Mykyta and Madeline, for your generosity, your kindness, and for trusting Impact Garage with Froyo's next chapter.
