We had an amazing time last Saturday (February 3rd) at the Miami University of Ohio FTC Qualifier! We competed with 26 other teams, and walked away with the 2nd Place Inspire Award (the second highest award at the tournament, only behind First Place Inspire!) and the 1st Place Design Award for our functional and aesthetic robot design of our hippo!
On the field, we ranked 3rd out of 27, making us one of the 4 alliance captains—the first time this season. We chose to ally ourselves with 12802 We Will Bot You and 4969 Robot-X, and we had a lot of fun and exciting matches, including the highest scoring match of the day with a total of 191 points! (We couldn’t have done it without our amazing alliance partners!)
