- It costs Boys’ Haven approximately $27,000 - $30,000 per youth per year.
- Transitional Living/Preparation for adult living/Job Skills Training Provided
- Introduction to 12-step programs, if needed
- Mentoring program
- Off campus jobs
- Residents participate in lifeskill classes

Amanda and Patricia spent yesterday (day 1) at the TNOYS (Texas Network of Youth Services) Conference in Austin!
From powerful sessions on unlocking engagement to meaningful conversations around youth support and collective impact, the day was filled with valuable insights and inspiration. This work continues to remind us that collaboration and innovation are key to building stronger systems for young people across Texas.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring new ideas back to strengthen our work in the community.
Today (day 2) will include workshops on driving change, TBRI, system responses to youth homelessness along with several other topics.

Our office is closed June 10-12, 2026 while our admin staff attend the annual TNOYS Conference, a statewide gathering focused on best practices in youth services, trauma‑informed care, and organizational leadership.
This conference brings together professionals from across Texas to learn emerging strategies, strengthen advocacy efforts, and collaborate on improving outcomes for youth and families.

If you have a heart for helping young adults build independence, we’d love to meet you.

We are hiring Part‑Time Resident Advocates for our Journey House program. We have weekday, overnight, and weekend shifts available. You’ll support young men ages 18–24 as they work toward stability, education, employment, and a brighter future.
