Looking for a safe, engaging place for your child after school? We are currently accepting children ages 3–13 who are enrolled in school for our after-school program!

🚌 We pick up from most Beaumont ISD schools, as well as Harmony, Bob Hope, and Ignite.

Our program offers so much more than after-school care! Children have opportunities for homework help, STEM activities, enrichment, daily hot meals, and more.

Thank you to Ms. Sharon from The Giving Field on Liberty St for teaching our 7-8 year old students about different vegetables and eating the rainbow! Our students were able to make their own pickles from cucumbers grown at the Giving Field, try green, red, and yellow bell peppers, and plant their own cucumber seeds to add to our garden!

This week, our students learned all about Australia!

They took a virtual tour of the Great Barrier Reef, read The Rainbow Snake, created colorful watercolor paintings inspired by coral reefs, a traditional Australian Aboriginal story, and tasted Fairy Bread, a favorite Australian children's snack. Through stories, art, technology, and food, students explored Australia's rich culture and unique natural wonders.

Thank you to Regal for hosting us again this week! We appreciate your hard work in ensuring all 60 of our students received their kids snack pack during the movie with warm popcorn and frozen drinks, as well as patiently waiting on all of our students who purchased individual concessions. To say we enjoyed our experience would be an understatement ♥️

At the Southeast Texas Family Resource Center, we're proud to provide breakfast and lunch for the children attending our summer camp. We also know that many families are caring for children of all ages during the summer months.

To help connect families with additional resources, we're sharing information from the Southeast Texas Food Bank about local schools that are serving free breakfast and lunch to children and teens ages 18 and under. If this resource could benefit your family or someone you know, please feel free to share it.

Our 7–8 year olds had a great time visiting the The McFaddin-Ward House on Friday! They enjoyed learning about Beaumont's history and seeing what life was like in the past.

Several students were especially excited to learn that visits are free and immediately started making plans to come back with their families. We love seeing learning spark curiosity that extends beyond our program!
