Well… we did it! 🎬🎶

After months of planning and preparation, we officially launched the new Mony’s House Media Program, and what an incredible journey it has been.

This summer, The Great Grand Family Foundation hosted three successful week-long camps—two Cinema Camps in partnership with EDIFY Another and one Music Production Camp with The Jam Room Recording Studio. And Community partners Beaufort County Parks and Recreation.

Our students learned filmmaking, storytelling, music production, songwriting, recording, and audio engineering while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

The greatest reward has been the overwhelming feedback from our community partners. Hearing directors describe the experience as life-changing, inspiring, and motivating reminds us why we do this work.

Thank you to every student, family, instructor, partner, sponsor, and volunteer who believed in this vision. This is just the beginning.

Our final project is complete! 🎙️🔥

This week, our students came together to create a group record and put everything they learned in our production camp into action. From music production and recording techniques to teamwork, confidence, and creativity, they experienced what it takes to bring an idea to life.

Mony was all about seeing the good in people, believing in their potential, and bringing out the best in everyone. This week, we did exactly that. We watched young people discover their voices, build confidence, and realize what they are capable of.

This is what Mony’s House is all about: creating opportunities, empowering youth, and helping them see the greatness within themselves. 🎶

Today our Mony’s House Music Production campers visited the University of South Carolina School of Music. They got an inside look at the world of audio engineering, explored college opportunities, and, most importantly, learned that they belong in every room their dreams take them.
