Committed to Excellence is an outreach organization committed to ensuring the success of our future leaders. In order to accomplish this goal, we need community support.

Attention!!!

Calling all churches, businesses, local and nationwide organizations, fraternities, societies etc.

The 2nd Annual "50, 50, 50" Christmas Event is almost here.

The "50, 50, 50" Christmas Event was created to give back to middle and high school aged male students in need. These students consist of those that perform well behaviorally and academically and for those that need a bigger push.

If you would like to mentor a student for a day and possibly longer, this is an opportunity to make a difference. Contact me for more details.

It's almost time for the "50, 50, 50" Christmas Event

Are you a responsible male willing to take part in an experience you will remember forever. We are looking for men dedicated to ensuring our boys and young men are being encouraged and motivated to excel and grow into responsible men.

Join volunteers of the Committed to Excellence (C2E) program and other local organizations Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00pm for a day of giving.

I am a very positive and optimistic person. I try to see the good in all things. With regards to Black History Month, I agree 100% that we should celebrate black people and black history every day. All year. But the fact is we don't.

The truth is, we need the month. It was created because we were not being recognized and definitely not celebrated. And guess what, we still aren't. I mean, are we really? Most black people who achieve extraordinary things, they don't leave this earth without somebody, some entity trying to destroy their legacy.

We as black people do more tearing each other down than lifting each other up. Until we learn how to use what we have to the best of our ability and focus on the positives, rising above anger and ignorance, we will forever be in the dark. I think we're better than that. I know we're capable of excellence... So I celebrate. Help me bring to the light. Happy Black History Month every single body.
