The Humane Society of Bay County is a non-profit, animal advocate in our community.

The Humane Society of Bay County, a registered 501(c)(3), was formed in November 1984 by a group of concerned citizens who recognized a need within our community. Since then, the organization has acted as an animal advocate in our community. Your support continues to be our inspiration as we look forward to a future of improved welfare for all animals. The Humane Society of Bay County is a separate entity from Bay County Animal Control; however, the Humane Society advocates shelter adoptions and was a source of significant funding for building the Bay County Animal Control facility.

🐾💖 ONE WEEK LATER, AND WE’RE STILL FEELING THE LOVE! 💖🐾

What an incredible evening! 🎲✨ One week ago, our community came together for Casino Night, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who made it such a success!

These events help us provide care for animals in need, support lifesaving medical treatment, advocate for animal welfare, and strengthen the human-animal bond throughout our community. Every dollar raised helps us continue this important work for the pets and people who depend on us. ❤️

To Governor's Quarters, Deke’s Para Dice, our sponsors, donors, volunteers, attendees, and everyone who supported Casino Night— THANK YOU! Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of animals right here in our community. We couldn’t do it without you! 🐾

💬 Did you attend? Share your favorite memory from the evening in the comments!

📢 You can be a hero for homeless pets—and check something off your to-do list! 🐾💡

It’s true! Helping animals in need is as easy as saving your returnable cans and bottles. ♻️🐶🐱

Drop them off anytime in the back parking lot at the Humane Society of Bay County
📍 1607 Marquette Ave., Bay City, MI
(there is a gravel area with a deck box for cans and bottles, just leave them there!)

Every can and bottle adds up to lifesaving care—food, medical support, and the chance for every pet to find a loving forever home. 🏡💖

Your recyclables = real change for our furry friends.
Let’s turn trash into hope—one can at a time! 💪🐾

✨ Share this post and help us spread the word!
Together, we can make tails wag and hearts full. 💕
