The Rotary Club of Battle Creek is excited to announce the formation of a new Interact Club at Battle Creek Central High School!

In 2026 - 27, Battle Creek Central will join our existing Interact Clubs at St. Philip Catholic Central High School and the Battle Creek Area Mathematics and Science Center (BCAMSC), expanding opportunities for local students to get involved in community service and make a positive difference.

Interact Clubs bring students together to develop leadership skills, build friendships, and serve their communities while putting Rotary’s motto, Service Above Self, into action.

We are proud to support these young leaders as they discover the power of service and become the next generation of community changemakers!

🧥❤️ **Rotarians in Action: Helping Keep Our Community Warm!** ❤️🧥

Today, October 26, 2026, members of the **Rotary Club of Battle Creek** and **Cereal City Sunrise Rotary** partnered to help organize the Charitable Union’s Annual Coat Drive!

By joining forces, Rotarians helped support an important community effort to ensure individuals and families in need have access to warm coats and winter clothing as colder weather approaches.

This partnership reflects Rotary’s commitment to **Service Above Self** and the belief that when we work together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.

A big thank-you to all the Rotarians and Charitable Union volunteers who gave their time and energy to help keep Battle Creek warm this winter! 🧥🙌

🎓🌟 **Celebrating Our October Students of the Month!** 🌟🎓

The **Rotary Club of Battle Creek** was proud to recognize our October Students of the Month at our October 19 meeting! 🎉

These outstanding students were honored for their academic achievements, personal accomplishments, dedication to learning, and plans for the future. We are excited to celebrate their hard work and the bright futures ahead of them!

Our featured speaker was **Jim Lance**, who shared about his career as an Attorney and Battle Creek City Commissioner.

👏 Congratulations to our outstanding students! We are proud to recognize your accomplishments and look forward to seeing all that you achieve in the years ahead.

🔵 **A Special Visit to the Rotary Club of Battle Creek!** 🔵

The Rotary Club of Battle Creek welcomed **District 6360 Governor Tim Lee** to its regular meeting on Monday, October 12! 🎉

The visit provided an opportunity to celebrate our club’s accomplishments, discuss goals for the 2026–27 Rotary year, and strengthen our connection with Rotary leaders throughout the district.

One of Governor Lee’s key messages was the importance of **every District 6360 Rotary Club committing to support The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Fund.** Contributions to the Annual Fund help make Rotary grants and service projects possible, providing clubs with opportunities to address community needs and create lasting change locally and around the world. 🌎

From fighting food insecurity through our volunteer work at the Food Bank of South Michigan to supporting local nonprofits, engaging young leaders, and participating in community service projects, Battle Creek Rotarians are making a difference!

💙 We live by Rotary’s motto: *Service Above Self.*

🤝 As **People of Action**, we look forward to building on our accomplishments, strengthening community partnerships, and continuing to serve the people of Battle Creek.

🎨❤️ Young People of Action Bring Smiles to the Calhoun County Children’s Health Fair! ❤️🎨

On Saturday, October 10, members of the Battle Creek Area Math & Science Center and St. Philip Interact Clubs volunteered at the Calhoun County Children’s Health Fair, providing face painting for children and families! 🖌️😊

Along with bringing colorful smiles to the event, the Health Fair helped raise awareness about lead exposure and the importance of protecting children’s health. Lead awareness is especially important because exposure can affect a child’s development, learning, and overall well-being.

We are proud of these young People of Action for sharing their time, creativity, and enthusiasm while supporting an important community health initiative.

A big thank-you to our Interact members for demonstrating the Rotary spirit of service and helping make a difference for local children and families!
