These mailings did not come from the Battle Creek City Clerk’s Office or any government elections office and may include outdated or inaccurate information about voter registration status.

A note about the NAACP Nonpartisan Candidate Forum held 7/27/26

We want to extend our sincere apologies to any candidates who were not invited to participate in the Battle Creek NAACP Candidate Forum.

Because our event was organized entirely by volunteers, we had to limit our outreach to candidates whose names appeared on the City of Battle Creek ballot. Unfortunately, we did not have the capacity to obtain every township ballot and contact every candidate in the surrounding communities.

This was not an intentional omission, nor was it a reflection on any candidate or campaign. We appreciate everyone who has stepped forward to serve our community, and we regret that we were unable to include every race in this year’s forum.

Thank you for your understanding, and we wish all candidates the very best in the upcoming election.
