CIR Community Inclusive Recreation

CIR Community Inclusive Recreation CIR is a not for profit organization that provides educational, recreational and art programs for individuals with and without disabilities.

At CIR individuals and families with and without disabilities are given the opportunity to explore their community as well as develop and strengthen fine skills, and try novel activities to ultimately build memories. CIR is dedicated to providing an assortment of programming ranging from ‘Art with a Purpose’, to bowling, and drumming, to enhance daily living. CIR is dedicated to providing the best

services and ensures that everyone is treated with respect regardless of social or economic status, race, color, religion, age, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, height, weight, marital status, national origin or disability. We strive to provide many accommodations including transportation and scholarship. CIR believes that:
• Every person should be valued, respected, and accepted
• Everyone has a gift to offer the community and deserves the right to fully participate
• Separate is not equal. Including individuals with disabilities into the social and recreational life of our community has intrinsic value - for both the individual and for the community at large
• Each person deserves the right to choose the activities in which they wish to participate
• The words "person-centered" are more than a good idea - they need to be the focal point of every interaction that we have with individuals who are seeking their own voice and destiny
