Join the Cereal City Concert Band on December 6th at 3:00 PM at Pennfield Performing Arts Center for our annual holiday concert!

We are excited to welcome Julie Angelis-Boehler as our featured guest artist. Julie is the retired Principal Timpanist of the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and has enjoyed an outstanding career performing across the country and around the world.

Julie will showcase her talent on timpani and perform two exciting snare drum features, “Dazzling Drums” by Paul Yoder and “Patapan,” arranged by Shelly Hanson.

The concert will open with energetic selections by Morton Gould and Dmitri Shostakovich, followed by a second half filled with Christmas music from Europe and the United States.

Make plans to join us for an afternoon of great music and holiday favorites!

Ticket Prices:
General Admission: $15
Students, Seniors (65+), and Veterans: $10
Children 5 and under: Free

The band played for the opening ceremony for The Wall That Heals. What an incredible ceremony and the keynote speaker was a Medal of Honor recipient and superb speaker. My emotions are pretty raw today. Thank you for conducting, Ed Zentera! And thank you Band!!!

It was a beautiful evening for a concert for the residents. A huge thank you to Ed Zentera for stepping in as our conductor. We had a blast!

Join us on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Finley's Grill and Smokehouse for our Fund$ For Friend$ charity dinner benefiting the Cereal City Concert Band. The band will receive 10% of all sales from 4pm to 9pm if we get 30 people to support this great cause. You can dine in or take out. Simply show this coupon to the manager at the door, or just say you're there to support the Cereal City Concert Band and enjoy a delicious dinner, great drinks, and a ton of fun all while supporting the band!

Join us for “Spring Serenade” on Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 PM at Pennfield Performing Arts Center in Battle Creek.

Enjoy a lively program featuring works by Alfred Reed, Leonard Bernstein, Frank Ticheli, and more—plus a fun finale from The Lord of the Rings! This vibrant spring performance will feature a diverse and uplifting selection of concert band repertoire that captures the spirit of renewal and energy.

Now in its 39th season, the band—under the direction of Dr. Doyon and assistant conductor Amanda Burdette—continues to delight audiences with its talented musicians and engaging performances.
