The best leaders never stop learning. They surround themselves with people who challenge their thinking, broaden their perspectives, and inspire continuous growth.

Leadership is a journey, not a destination. There is always something new to learn, a new way to serve, and an opportunity to make a difference.

If you’re looking to grow as a leader while serving your community, there’s a place for you in Lions.

LIONS INTERNATIONAL

PEACE POSTER CONTEST 2027

“Harmony in Humanity”

The 2027 Lions International Peace Poster Contest invites young people to express their vision of peace through art.

This year’s inspiring theme, “HARMONY IN HUMANITY,” encourages participants to imagine a world where people from different cultures, backgrounds, and communities live together in peace, treating one another with respect, kindness, and understanding.

When we choose compassion over division, peace can flourish.

Through their artwork, young people are invited to celebrate diversity, discover what unites us, and inspire a future built on harmony among all people.

Each year, around 600,000 young people from across the globe take part in the contest, making it one of the world’s largest international youth art competitions dedicated to peace.

Eligibility

* Open to young people 11–13 years of age.
* Artwork must be an original, hand-drawn creation reflecting the annual theme.
* Entry deadline: 9 November 2026.

Sponsored Worldwide

The contest is sponsored by local Lions Clubs around the world.
With more than 50,000 Lions Clubs serving their communities globally, the competition reaches young artists in over 200 countries and geographic areas.

International Awards

* Grand Prize: US$5,000 and an invitation to an international Lions event.
* 23 Merit Awards: US$500 each.

The Peace Poster Contest encourages young people around the world to reflect on the meaning of peace through artistic expression. By fostering creativity, dialogue, and mutual understanding, it supports one of Lions Clubs International’s fundamental purposes:

“To create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.”
