McLindon Family Foundation

McLindon Family Foundation McLindon Family Foundation provides adaptive bikes to children with special needs. They also help these children build core strength and confidence. Thank you.

The McLindon Family Foundation ( MFF) provides adaptive bikes to special needs children. These bikes provide an opportunity for a child to experience that special sense of freedom and pride of having their very own bike. Additionally, it helps facilitate inclusion. As it has been proven to us over and over again, these bikes change lives. Parents work with their child's therapists to select the ap

propriate adaptive bike for their child. We engage our donor network to help fund the purchase of these bikes. Our donors are motivated by the success stories that are shared on this FB page. Additionally they are very satisfied to learn that: 100% of their donation goes to the purchase of these bikes, we purchase at a "non-profit" discount and their donations are tax deductible. We also " re-cycle", meaning when a child outgrows his bike we take it back and get it into the hands of another deserving family. Our donors contributions keep working. We have some bikes on their third child. If you have a special needs child and would like to get on our waiting list please send us a message so we can start the conversation with you today. If you would like to help change a life today and would like to contribute, you can click on our donate button and pay via paypal or credit card. Or you can mail a check to MFF 8305 Tom Drive Baton Rouge, La. 70815. We invite you to travel down our wall and see pictures and videos of the nearly 100 children who have received our bikes so far. We hope this project will resonate with you and you will join us in the important project.

We were back in Pennsylvania! 🚲💙

For the second time, we traveled to Chester, PA to take part in the Foxwynd Foundation Summit and present adaptive bikes to local children. We are thankful for our continued partnership with the Foxwynd Foundation and United Way of Chester County.

Congratulations to Matias, Jaxson, Esteban, and Bryce on their new adaptive bikes!

A special thank you to Rene Bentley, Bobby Gilchrist, Julia Lyman, Pamela Villagra, Gloria Galvez, Christopher Saello and all the families who were present at this wonderful presentation.

Charlee’s Bike Delivery Day at Tri-Form Therapy Clinic was one to remember 💜

Surrounded by her family and therapists, Charlee celebrated the delivery of her adaptive bike with smiles all around. We especially love when therapists are able to join these special moments — their guidance and support help us choose the right bike, accessories, and setup for each child’s unique needs.

It truly takes a team, and we’re grateful to celebrate alongside the people helping children like Charlee thrive every day. 🚲

Meet Daniyal from Texas! 💚

Daniyal loved his bike so much, we caught him giving it a hug before heading inside for dinner. His mom later shared that he’s been riding it every single day - safe to say it’s already his favorite part of the day.

✨ DONATE ✨
Make a difference and become a DONOR today! 💙💚🤝

The average cost of a custom adaptive bike is $3500. These adaptive bikes are crucial to a child's development to build critical core strength and confidence to reach milestones, yet they are not covered by insurance. If you would like to change a child's life, please consider making your tax deductible contribution today; any amount goes a long way.

"Through the generosity of donors like you, we've been able to provide hundreds of adaptive bikes to children with special needs." - Andrew McLindon, Founder
