Needy of Greater Baton Rouge Needy of Greater BR is a Christian NonProfit Organization dedicated to helping the community in need. Needy of Greater Baton Rouge was founded by Mr. J.C.

Arceneaux and has been in existence since 1970. We are a nonprofit 501(c)3 Louisiana organization and rely on donations from our community and the impressive support from local businesses. Tim Arceneaux, the son of our late founder, is the director. Along with his children and a devoted staff, Needy of Greater Baton Rouge's fundamental calling is to aid in the support of helping the less fortunate

in our community. This is primarily accomplished by converting the proceeds from clothing donations into food vouchers for those in need. We also work closely with many local charities to offer food baskets, holiday toys, coats for children, and much more. As stated in our mission we are dedicated to helping those less fortunate in our community and continually adapt to achieve this in numerous ways.
