Meeting the educational, financial and emotional needs of those affected by cancer Helena, St. James, West Baton Rouge and West Feliciana Parishes.

A local and independent nonprofit, Cancer Services opened in 1959 to serve the tangible needs of people living with cancer in Greater Baton Rouge. Over the years the agency’s scope has evolved to empower cancer patients and their families by helping to meet the financial, educational and emotional needs that arise during the cancer journey. All services are free of charge and we serve a ten parish

area that includes Ascension, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St.

Recently we hosted a free wig care and styling session for women undergoing cancer treatment!
Led by Lynn Johnson, owner and stylist of The Beehive Salon, attendees learned how to care for synthetic and human hair wigs, plus tips for building confidence during treatment.

A special thank you to Hope Scarves for donating 30 scarves, each paired with a survivor story. 💛
