Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank Our mission is to feed people experiencing hunger in Baton Rouge & surroundings parishes. When it comes to senior hunger, Louisiana is third in the nation.

Did you know that 1 in 7 people experience food insecurity in Louisiana? Louisiana leads the nation in childhood hunger too, with 1 in 5 children being food insecure. The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank has been working to reduce these statistics since 1984. As an affiliate of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks and food rescue organizations, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank provide
