Baton Rouge Alliance for Students I believe that our work together will ensure Baton Rouge’s future by uplifting the innate potential in every child in every corner of our community.

We are a team of people absolutely committed to choosing kids over adults and building a future for our city-parish in which all students receive an excellent education, and we’re ready to get to work. The Alliance was created with a goal of ensuring that students are at the forefront of school improvement decisions in Baton Rouge, and that a diverse coalition of families, civic leaders, elected o

Earlier this week, we gathered to celebrate the program close for the eighth cohort of CHANGEMAKERS and officially welcome them into our alumni network.

Over the last 10 months, this group has put in tremendous work, showing a deep commitment to understanding the Baton Rouge education ecosystem and their own roles in driving community change. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the journey they’ve taken together.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Cade Brumley for speaking with the class and sharing his time with us.
