We open the 2026 Louisiana Smart Growth Summit with a keynote from a MacArthur Fellow and Peabody Award winner who has transformed neighborhoods across the country with one big idea: every community deserves high-quality everything.

Then a Baton Rouge panel brings it home, exploring how communities across East Baton Rouge Parish can shape their own revitalization. Because there's no economic development without community development.
