There are numerous ways you can help the children living in dire poverty. LCW needs support for all twelve of the well-established programs.

LCW is a non-profit Child Sponsorship organization dedicated to giving a hand up to a better future through creating caring communities for children who are victims of poverty, neglect, or abuse. You can help by praying, sponsorship, donations to programs, and/or donating items to the LCW office to ship to the Philippines. This holistic approach requires funding for all the children needs as explained by the acronym HELPS. H - health and housing, E - education, L - livelihood, P - Peace and Faith (Christian training), and S - sponsorship. The Urgent Needs funding provides help in the programs where most needed. However, if a donor prefers to give to a particular program you may do so by designating it with your donation. We feel the effect of the prayers of all our sponsors, donors, and staff knowing that without God’s guidance LCW/LCP would not be successful. Prayer undergirds all that we do, and this is one way you certainly can help. The greatest need, over the long run is the sponsorship program. The sponsor bonds with a needy child and has a sense of gratitude as he/she sees the child’s progress, growth, graduation, and eventually success in the workplace.

Just save one...

As the year starts to come to a close, we are in our annual Urgent Needs Campaign. Our theme this year is "Just Save One."

The world is huge and sometimes it feels like needs are insurmountable. Families with food insecurity, parents fighting cancer, weather causing calamities - the list goes on.

It can be easy to wonder if we are even making a difference. But, be encouraged, friends. YOU can be a life changer! Together, we ARE making a difference.

Even small amounts make a HUGE difference in the lives of children and families in need! When we cannot save all - we can SAVE ONE!
💜$30 per child per week or $1600 per child per year provides 24/7 care, food, housing, and education for children in 5 shelters from the streets or abusive homes
💜$130 per year feeds a child in a soup kitchen one meal each weekday for one year
💜$13 per week provides free medicine kits to people in need of care and $85 per week provides nutrition and vitamin support to malnourished children
💜$850 per week provides Bible studies in 15 communities and weekly worship including transportation costs for over 2000 people
💜$90 per week or $390 per month provides education for out-of-school youth to be picked up from the streets and to reenter public schooling
💜$500 per week allows us to offer speech, physical, and occupational therapies and medical support to 205 children with disabilities
