Happy International Coffee Day!

This image of the mess line in front of one of the unit commissaries was taken during one of the annual encampments held in 1912. What makes it especially significant is that the encampment brought together U.S. Army and National Guard of Pennsylvania forces, including units of the Second Brigade, Second Squadron of Cavalry, and Battery C, Field Artillery.

The shirt order has arrived! We'll get these unpacked, processed and back out the door tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the shirt campaign as well as those who made other contributions! Without your help, the 2026 campaign would not have been this successful!

As thunderstorms and heavy rain continues to sweep across Pennsylvania, this April 1898 image of the 15th Regiment echoes the same mood. The bleak sky and the smoke hanging low in the company street reveals just how storms shaped daily life in their camp.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Together, we reached our 2026 fundraising goal—thank you for the outstanding support that made it possible! 1863 Designs delivered an excellent design for this year’s shirt, and we’re already looking forward to seeing what they create for 2027.

Shirt orders closed at midnight, and any donations received between now and December 31 will be accepted as general donations. You can still donate by following this link: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/AMQKJ5BTY6SBL

Donors: please watch your inbox. We’ll be sending out shirt order updates, and details on a special thank‑you event that we are planning.

Thank you again! We're looking forward to breaking some more records in 2027!

This Tuesday is your final chance to secure a 2026 campaign shirt.

Only $239 remains between us and our goal. Although the 2026 NGP Preservation & Education Campaign runs through the end of the year, we’re positioned to finish early—and with record‑setting results.

This campaign has broken multiple records for us:
✅Largest projected donation since we started The NGP Preservation & Education Campaign
✅Beating our previous record for shirts sold
✅Set a new benchmark by doubling our highest shirt total
✅On track to complete our entire fundraising campaign in roughly two months - $239 to go!
