HindiUSA Saint Louis successfully conducted its 2nd annual Fire & Safety Drill on Oct 2nd 2026 for 200+ students, including 50+ new students participating for the first time.

Teachers prepared students in advance and were trained using a documented safety procedure and video. This year, we invited our local Emergency Response/EMS team (West County EMS & FIRE) to activate the alarm, observe the evacuation, and provide independent feedback. We successfully evacuated all students in approximately 3 minutes.

The kids also enjoyed seeing the fire trucks before safely returning to class!

According to NFPA research, U.S. fire departments responded to an estimated 3,230 school structure fires annually, reinforcing why regular preparedness and evacuation drills are important.

We appreciate EMS team and all HindiUSA teachers and volunteers for making the drill successful.
