Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. In 1980, his Phoenix community came together to make his wish come true.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Missouri & Kansas is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in Missouri in 1983. Make-A-Wish® Missouri & Kansas serves every community throughout Missouri and Kansas. Since 1983, we have granted over 10,350 wishes to children with critical illnesses. Make-A-Wish traces its inspiration to Christopher James Greicius, an energetic 7-year-old boy battling l

eukemia who wishes to be a police officer. Little did Chris know that his wish would create a movement that would transform millions of lives. Today, Make-A-Wish has granted hundreds of thousands of life-changing wishes to children battling critical illnesses. Last night, our Kansas City community came together at The Abbott for Kansas City Royals Wives for Wishes, presented by UMB Bank, Superior Bowen, Smart Distributors and Standard Beverage! 💙

From dancing the night away to incredible live swing jazz music to bidding on one-of-a-kind auction items, every moment of the evening was in celebration of the life-affirming mission of Make-A-Wish and the power of a wish. ⭐

What a way to end an incredible season of Music 4 Wishes! ✨

Yesterday, our community showed UP for the Music 4 Wishes season finale at Station Plaza! From live music and an amazing crowd to hearing local wish alumni share firsthand about the life-changing power of a wish, it was a night we won’t soon forget. 🎤🌟

And the best part? We did it all while raising essential funds to help grant wishes for local children who are waiting for their wish to come true. 💫

This Barbie had a WISH come true! 🎀✨

For Raevyn, her wish to have her very own Barbie Dream House was about so much more than pink, sparkles and Barbies...

It was a day created entirely for her, filled with moments that made her feel beautiful, confident, celebrated and completely carefree. 💗

“I think one of my favorite things was seeing how much they thought about me,” Raevyn shared. “They got me special Barbies that relate to my situation, which makes me feel really special.”

And there was SO much thought and love behind every detail of Raevyn’s Barbie world! 🥰

With help from our friends at Ulta Beauty, Raevyn received the ultimate Barbie-inspired transformation. Ken N Barbie'z Rollin Diner helped make her day even sweeter, while The Season Venue at OJ Watson Park provided the perfect place to celebrate. Petite Keep created another special piece of her wish experience, and Mattel helped fill Raevyn’s Dream House with Barbies chosen especially for her.

A special thank you to The Victory Project for helping make Raevyn’s wish a reality. 💙

Their incredible generosity and support helped bring even more joy and magic to Raevyn’s special day, creating memories she and her family will carry with them long after her wish. We are so grateful to have WishMakers like The Victory Project in our corner! ✨

Together, you gave Raevyn the chance to step away from the everyday challenges of her medical journey, feel beautiful and carefree, and simply enjoy being a kid.
