Chinese Shar-Pei Rescue Trust

Chinese Shar-Pei Rescue Trust Our resources are for pure bred Shar-Pei. Placements are done by the local rescue groups. All dogs in rescue will be spayed/neutered, brought up to date.

We are a 501(c)3 designated charity. The CSPCA is dedicated to the protection of the Chinese Shar-Pei breed. Like all rescues,
our funds and resources are limited. For that reason we must limit our resources to pure bred Shar-Pei. The CSPCA strongly encourages all of our breeders to be responsible for the dogs they breed. When a situation arises where the owner can no longer keep the dog, the bree

der should be willing to help by taking the dog back and, if necessary, rehoming it. In cases when that is not possible, in many instances our local rescue groups can help. We also help shelters connect with a local Shar-Pei rescue groups when needed. We currently have 24 rescue groups with contacts in 35 different states. The CSPCA Rescue Funds are used to assist our 501(c)3 groups with their expenses and to provide financial help in large rescue emergencies. Our Rescues are always looking for help. There are many ways you can help; transporting, fostering, home visits to potential adopters and volunteering to evaluate dogs in shelters. You can find the list of Rescue Groups that are affiliated with the CSPCA on our website: www.cspca.com/breeders/rescue

The CSPCA Rescue Fund collects money to be distributed among our approved affiliated groups that apply for funding. We can always use donations. 100% of the money is split between the applicants or held for large Shar-Pei rescue situations that occur from time to time. Donations of any size are appreciated and put to good use. Please make donation checks payable to the CSP Rescue Trust and mail to:

This is a courtesy post about a female Shar-Pei in the North East.
Located in Windham, CT

Mochi is the sweetest Shar-Pei that wants a lap to snuggle in,
treats to rain from the sky and a face to kiss all day long!

She's around 5 years old, spayed, microchipped and 4dx
negative. She had pretty severe entropion that we had surgically
corrected and her eyes are doing much better so far!

She enjoys attention from people and the company of other dogs,
But prefers a home without feline companions. She is accepting
applications for her next household to care for her the rest of her days.

This rescue also has Mochi’s son, which is a handsome Shar-Pei
mix.
