🏃🏾‍♂️ 💨 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and the Beta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. invites you to lace up your sneakers and join us for the Run For Him Men's Prostate Cancer Awareness 5K.

Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, your participation helps raise awareness about the importance of early detection, supports men and families impacted by prostate cancer, and reminds every man that his health matters.

There goes an Alpha Man!

Earlier this week, our 2026 Neophyte of The Year & oncoming Recording Secretary, Brother Tavares Jones (3BBΛSPR25) gave a career day presentation to students at Learning Beyond Walls Summer Camp in Miami, Fl! Brother Jones came straight from being on air to providing these students with a phenomenal crash course in broadcast news. Through this experience, the students ages 5 to 12, learned about what the 7News team does, interacted with a live satellite truck, and even took part in a mini newscast.

This is only one of the many things that Brother Jones has done for the community of Miami, Fl since being initiated into the Beta Beta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity over the past year and we look forward to seeing what the future holds. Continue to hold the light high Good Brother! 🤙🏾

THERE GOES AN ALPHA MAN! 🤙🏽

Bro. Steve Serrano (SPR. ‘22) recently served as a guest speaker at North County K-8 Center for their “The Forge: The Young Men’s Summit”. Bro. Serrano poured into the young men on responsibility, decision making, and accountability. Big shoutout to Bro. Reginald Mizell (SPR. ‘22) for coordinating such a great event and creating the space to build stronger relationships in the community and expand our reach through educational initiatives. Great work brothers and A Phi!

TODAY: Brothers of the Beta Beta Lambda & Alpha Chapters took part in ‘s annual Real Men Read event, designed to inspire a love of reading among young students by showcasing positive male role models. The initiative is also supported by of FL, focusing on early literacy development and underscores the impact of positive male role models in education.
