Meet Gilbert: a House Panther in Training! 🖤
Gilbert may be small now, but he's well on his way to becoming a full-fledged house panther. When he first arrived in foster care, he was a scared little kitten who preferred hiding from the world. With patience, love, and time, he's blossomed into a playful, affectionate companion who is discovering that life can be pretty fun.
These days, Gilbert's favorite activities include playing, chasing toys, and wrestling with his brothers. He approaches each day with a little more confidence than the last, and it's been wonderful to watch him come out of his shell.
Like many sensitive kittens, Gilbert can still be startled by loud noises and sudden movements. When things feel overwhelming, he appreciates having a safe place to retreat and regroup. Because of this, he'll do best in a home that understands and respects his needs while continuing to help him build confidence at his own pace. Having another kitty friend will go a long way in his continued journey.
Gilbert is proof that some of the sweetest companions are the ones who take a little extra time to trust. Watching his personality grow has been incredibly rewarding, and his future family will have the joy of seeing that journey continue.
