We have been searching for some more Rescue Rangers and we are happy to report that we have recently had some heroes come to our rescue! 🙌
Today we would like you to meet Kat, our Storytelling Strategist!
As an organization that is foster based and does not have a physical location, we struggle to keep our supporters informed on all the ins and outs of the lifesaving going on behind the scenes. We have added a wonderful addition to the team to specifically keep you updated on the work we are doing! Kat gathers information from each department each month and sends out a monthly newsletter to lay out the story for our supporters!

Kat gathers information on cases we are currently working on then follows up with updates. Features special adoptable pets and events. There are ways to help and information with our needs. Kat has brought a new fun twist to our newsletter with a personal spin and we just love what has been done with it!

We are SO thankful to have Kat as our storytelling strategist, if you want a inside look on what we are up to subscribe to our monthly newsletter here:

Meet Pepper, a handsome gray kitten with a gentle heart and a playful spirit that's shining brighter every day.

When Pepper first arrived in foster care, he preferred to observe the world from a safe distance. With time, patience, and plenty of encouragement, he has been steadily coming out of his shell and showing everyone just how special he is. Each day brings new confidence, new adventures, and a little more of his charming personality.

Pepper loves playtime, especially when a wand toy is involved. Playtime is one of his favorite ways to build confidence and have fun with the people he trusts.

As his confidence grows, so does his affectionate and playful nature. It's been a joy to watch him discover that good things happen when he takes a chance and steps outside his comfort zone.

If you're looking for a sweet gray boy who is blossoming more every day and loves a good wand-toy adventure, Pepper may be the perfect addition to your family.

Nala is a sweet, orange girl who thinks laying on the couch with her human is a grand way to pass time. She adores getting all the pets that are being given out and is not afraid to return the affection. When she's home alone, she entertains herself by sitting by the window and watching birds or taking a cozy nap on the nearest couch or bed. Her favorite toys are string or feather toys.

Nala gets along great with dogs and wouldn't mind one as a companion. She would probably do best as an only cat or another older kitty with a proper, slow introduction. She would be ok with older children who are calm.

She loves being a lap kitty and is always up for a snuggle, but does not like being clingy. She'll rub her human's face/glasses to remind them how content she is. Overall, Nala is playful, cuddly, and chill little ginger.

Garfield Winston is a handsome 3-year-old orange tabby with a heart as sweet as his signature orange coat. While he may be a little shy when meeting new people, don't let his reserved nature fool you—once he feels safe and comfortable, he's an incredibly affectionate boy who loves to snuggle.

When Garfield Winston isn't being clingy to his human fosters, he has been trying to make friends with the resident cats. Even though the other cats aren't looking for a friend, he still tries to be friendly and clearly would enjoy having a kitty friend in his new family.

He found out how much fun the catio is and also loves playing with ribbon and feather toys, bonus points if catnip is involved. Garfield Winston votes for Nexflix binges and can lay next to his humans for hours soaking up attention. He constantly purrs and especially loves being kissed on his forehead.

Could Garfield Winston be the orange cuddle buddy you've been searching for?

Meet Eeyore, a handsome tuxedo kitten with a gentle heart and a playful side that's growing bigger every day.

When Eeyore first arrived in foster care, he preferred to keep to himself and watch the world from a safe distance. But with patience, kindness, and a little encouragement, he has been steadily coming out of his shell and showing everyone what a wonderful kitten he is. Every day brings a little more confidence, a little more curiosity, and a lot more fun.

Eeyore absolutely loves playtime, especially when a wand toy is involved. Wave a feather wand his way and you'll see him spring into action, chasing, pouncing, and showing off his impressive hunting skills. Play is one of his favorite ways to build confidence and connect with the people around him.

As his confidence grows, so does his affectionate and playful personality. Watching him discover that the world isn't such a scary place is incredibly rewarding.

If you're looking for a sweet tuxedo boy who is blossoming more every day and loves a good wand-toy adventure, Eeyore may be the perfect addition to your family.
