For the first time ever, we invited our community to become Bookbag Buddies by donating backpacks for the Bookbag Bash. We weren't sure what to expect, but we're so grateful to everyone who answered the call and helped make this year's event possible.
When students arrived, they didn't just receive a backpack. They got to choose the one that felt right for them before heading inside to fill it with school supplies. That simple moment may seem small, but giving a child the opportunity to pick their own backpack helps them begin the school year with confidence, excitement, and a sense of ownership.
To everyone listed here, thank you for helping create those moments. Your generosity made a real difference for local students and their families.
