🎄 Christmas in Haiti… NOW! 🇭🇹

Yes, we know—it’s September. 😂 But if you’ve ever wondered what it takes to get Christmas goodies to Haiti, we have to start early!

I’ll be traveling to Haiti soon, and we’re trying to get some much-needed supplies together before I go. I’ve put together an Amazon wishlist with things we need at Hope Community Project, including items that will go into Christmas goody bags for the kids we serve.

There are also practical items that will be used throughout the year in our programs and ministry in Gonaïves.

If you’d like to help, now is the time! 🎁 Even a small item from the list makes a difference—and it helps us get these things where they need to be.

Thank you for helping us love and serve our friends in Haiti. We’re so grateful for everyone who continues to be part of what God is doing through HCP. ❤️🇭🇹

📚 There’s nothing quite like the excitement of getting new school books!

There’s something special about watching kids receive their school books, backpacks, and supplies for a new school year. For many of these families, these things are not something they can simply go out and buy. Because of you, our students can walk into school prepared and ready to learn.

Please pray for our students and their teachers as a new school year begins. Pray for good schools, dedicated teachers and safety.

Thank you to everyone who has already helped make this school year possible! Your generosity is doing more than providing school supplies — you are helping us walk alongside children and families in Haiti and share the hope of Jesus with them.

We still have students who need sponsors for their school supplies. $40 provides books, school supplies, and uniform fabric for one student.

Would you help us get one of our students ready for school? 🇭🇹📚

$40 can make a big difference in the life of a child.

School starts soon, but first we celebrate our top students with a pool party and yummy food!

These kids have worked hard all year, and we love having the chance to celebrate them and their accomplishments before they head back to school.

This is what we love about our education program—giving kids the opportunity to stay in school, work hard, and succeed.

We are so thankful for everyone who makes moments like this possible. ❤️

Please pray for Gonaïves!

Gonaïves sits surrounded by mountains, and when we get a lot of rain in a short amount of time, flooding can become a major problem.

We’ve been hearing from our staff and some of the families in our programs, and the reports are concerning. Some families have as much as 8 inches of water (and mud) inside their homes.

Please pray for our families and staff as they deal with the flooding. Pray for those whose homes have been affected, for protection, and the water to recede.

We’re continuing to check in with our staff and families and will keep you updated as we know more.

Please stop and pray for Gonaïves today. 💙
