Hope Community Project At Hope Community Project, we believe children belong in families—not orphanages. HOPE's overarching goal is orphan prevention.

Through education, medical care, economic development, and community-led initiatives, we’re empowering Haitian families to thrive and stay together. We exist to facilitate the development of healthy communities through partnerships with Haitian churches and organizations to encourage sustainable physical, spiritual and economic health; we desire to communicate Christ-centered compassion as well as

respect for the dignity and resources of the Haitian people. We seek to help vulnerable families stay together, as well as, to encourage extended families and communities to care for the orphans among them. We desire to walk alongside them helping through school sponsorships, medical care and economic development. We are committed to providing at-risk families and children in our target area a viable alternative to traditional orphan care in Haiti. Our HOPE Medical Project serves the medical needs of the deeply impoverished, at-risk children and orphans in the local community. We are committed to creating a permanent presence in our target community and ongoing mobile clinics in support of a variety of ministry partners who represent communities with an established need.

The world is watching the World Cup. 🇭🇹⚽

For the kids in Hope Community Project’s soccer program, it’s so much more than a tournament.

Soccer is one of the most effective ways we know to keep kids off the streets and away from gangs. Every practice gives them a safe place to belong, positive role models to look up to, and teammates who encourage them to make good choices.

When they watch Haiti compete on the world’s biggest stage, they don’t just see a national team.

They see that their country is more than the headlines. They see players who came from communities much like their own. They see that discipline, hard work, and perseverance can open doors.

That’s why we invest in soccer.

It’s not just about goals and trophies. It’s about protecting children, strengthening families, building character, and creating opportunities where so many are limited.
As the Grenadiers represent Haiti in the World Cup, we’re reminded why this ministry matters. The game may last 90 minutes, but the impact can last a lifetime.

Jumping into Monday with a wish list!

During summer break we run special sessions for the kids—this year includes computers and sewing (and more!).

Our Amazon wish list includes some pretty important items to allow this to happen and also some everyday supplies we need to add some light (security) to HCP headquarters.
