Who is joining us tomorrow night?? 🎭Excelsior Goes to the Movies (at Strand Theater)! 🎭

The plan is simple! Just arrive around 6:00 PM, purchase your own tickets and concessions, and find seats near your Excelsior friends. No pre-purchasing or meeting somewhere else beforehand.

🎟️ Ticket Prices
• Adults: $6
• Seniors (55+): $4
• Children (4–12): $4
• Ages 3 & Under: Free
👨‍👩‍👧 Children under 13 must attend with a parent or guardian.

🎶 We know it's a musical we'll all love—but remember, this is not a sing-along! Let's be respectful of the performers and other guests.

Excelsior Goes to the Movies!

*Location: 221 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755 /260-347-355 / https://www.strand-theatre.com/

Strand Theater is located in Kendallville. It is 33 minutes from Northrop, 22 minutes from downtown Auburn, 32 minutes from downtown Angola, 32 minutes from Leo High School, 18 minutes from Garrett.

The Plan: We would love to spend an evening with our Excelsior students, families, and friends! We are going to keep this really simple. Show up at 6 PM, pay for your tickets and concessions, and find seats near your Excelsior friends. No pre-paying, no meeting at a different location, etc. Children under thirteen will need a guardian/parent to stay with them. Just a reminder that while we all LOVE musicals, this is (unfortunately) not a sing-along edition. Enjoy, but be mindful of our fellow patrons! You are welcome to attend, even if you don’t RSVP, but we would LOVE to know ahead of time if you plan on coming (just for a general headcount to communicate with Strand). https://forms.gle/21F8pzWtN7hasmbb6 (You are welcome to bring friends/family who are not currently part of Excelsior.)

Hadestown: The Musical has been extended, and our friends at Strand Theater will be running this show August 7-August 9, 2026. If you can’t meet us at our scheduled time/date, please keep them in mind if you are going to the movies! You really cannot beat their prices and awesome staff. They also kindly donated all of the popcorn that we sold at our Into the Woods concession stand.

We are so sorry, Tori Perkins. You deserved your spotlight all along! Thank you for your grace, your talent, and everything you brought to this production. We are so proud of you! 🌲✨

What a phenomenal run. We are beyond proud of every single member of this cast and the magic they brought to the Northrop stage night after night. 🎭💚

A heartfelt thank you to our directors, parents, volunteers, and every single person who gave their time, talent, and heart to make Into the Woods the success it was.
