💔 MOMOA NEEDS HELP. 💔
We don’t usually say things like this.
But we’re worried about Momoa.
Really worried.
Momoa is 6 years old, and not long ago he had a home. He lived with lots of other cats, had familiar places to sleep, familiar smells, and a life that made sense.
Then everything changed.
Now he’s here.
And he’s not handling it well.
While some cats adjust to shelter life, Momoa has gone the opposite direction. He’s stressed. He’s scared. He’s hiding. He’s losing weight.
Every day we walk by hoping to see a little improvement.
Every day we wish we could explain to him that this isn’t forever.
Because right now, Momoa doesn’t look like a cat who’s waiting for a home.
He looks like a cat who’s given up on finding one. 💔
And that’s the hardest part.
There is nothing wrong with him.
He’s not mean.
He’s not aggressive.
He’s not unadoptable.
He’s just heartbroken.
This handsome boy desperately misses having a place to belong.
A couch.
A bed.
A window.
A person.
Somewhere he can finally exhale.
We know that once Momoa is back in a home environment, we’ll get to see the cat he’s meant to be instead of the cat who’s simply trying to survive shelter life.
But he needs someone to give him that chance.
Soon.
Because watching him disappear into himself a little more each day is heartbreaking.
