It may look like “just a check,” but to the person receiving the help, it means one less bill to worry about and a little more room to focus on getting through treatment! Lights stay on, AC is flowing and stress stays away! 🙏🏻

Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💕

Today is a good day to celebrate the organizations doing the work! The big, small, local, national, and everything in between! ✨

At The Two Titmice Foundation, we may not help hundreds of people every year. We help fewer people, more deeply! 🙏🏻

Because sometimes one electric bill matters.
One month of rent matters.
A car payment matters.
And having one less thing to worry about while fighting breast cancer matters. 🎀

We’re proud to be a small nonprofit with a very big heart and even bigger love for the patients we serve.

Mid-Year Recap ✨

13 patients helped! 🩷

$57,000 in checks written directly for bills for breast cancer patients in treatment! 🙏🏻

At first glance, 13 may not sound like a big number. But here’s what we’ve learned: the number of patients an organization serves doesn’t always tell the whole story.

Some organizations are able to help hundreds of people with smaller amounts of assistance.

At The TWO TITMICE FOUNDATION, we focus on helping fewer patients with meaningful, substantial support by covering rent, electric bills, car payments, water bills, and other essential living expenses so patients can focus on getting well and not stress about every bill that comes their way.

And we’re only halfway through the year! 💗😉

The following story is from a new patient our foundation took in two weeks ago! 🩷

God is in the details…always! ✨

“When we are in desperate situations we look for signs. It was mid June and the first of the month had not seen rent due to navigating recent unemployment with a cancer diagnosis. Bills were stacking for this single woman, when I desperately reached out to The Two Titmice Foundation. While I thought the organization had a funny name, their quick response to meeting my needs was a serious lifeline. I was flabbergasted! The day after being accepted as their new patient, I called a supportive friend. Before sharing the good news on the phone, my friend exclaimed, “Oh, there are two titmice in my bucket!” In disbelief I asked them to repeat the statement and explain. The day before was the first day I’d even heard the word, ‘Titmice’. They explained that there were two titmice birds eating out of an outdoor birdseed bucket. Quickly, I told them to take pictures of the birds. I couldn’t believe it. This was my sign! While the pictures were coming through, I explained the significance of the Two Titmice Foundation and what they had just done for me. They rescued me in my darkest hour. It wasn’t just a cancer diagnosis, but it was my basic needs being met. Immediately, I texted Miranda and told her the story that had just happened. She sent me back a text, explaining the significance of one titmouse helping another injured one survive to make it through difficulty. Truly, birds of a feather do flock together. I’m incredibly grateful and looking forward to paying the outstanding generosity forward for the rest of my life.”

Lauren Dozier and her husband put on a fantastic tournament that gits better every year. So well organized, lots of great prizes, fantastic people and a big check at the end to The Two Titmice Foundation. This donation will help many breast cancer patients right here in N Florida with their bills while they battle cancer.
